Our stay at the Marriott Tampa Westshore was made so much better because of the shuttle drivers Tyler, Brian and Raul! They drove us all over the place for free and were so pleasant! Hotel itself was clean and quiet. Staff very helpful! Beware though, they actually charge for their wifi and while our friends received complimentary water, we had to pay.
I had read that the Renaissance puts on an opulent Mother's Day Buffet. I was traveling solo, so it was a must for me to experience this. I mean c'mon, just going to the Renaissance Hotel Tampa, is an experience in itself. This Mother's Day Buffet did not disappoint. I was seated at a 2 top window seat that looked out onto the garden and patio. My server was Faby. I absolutely adored her. Her Professionalism and Passion for her job are one of the main components to enjoying your meal out. There was an amazing choice of foods available to choose from. Everything I tried was delicious! An enjoyable afternoon had!
The front desk manager Patrick Fletcher was very rude when we checked in -when I got my keys and about to leave I happened to turn around he and his employees was laughing at me behind my back -I then asked for his manager contact information-he gave me the wrong email address-i went and looked for another manager-Mr. Austin Schmitzer gave me the operations manager Ami Patel email address-Mr Schmitzer was very nice-I emailed Ms Patel and gave her my phone numbers on August 23rd-she never contacted me backThen on September 5th she emailed me to set for a phone conversation. We agreed on a time and a date-she never called me that day-the next day she emailed to set up for another day -we agreed-then she didn’t call me again-until this day I never get a call or an email from her. I emailed Mr Carlos Sarmiento the GM -he never responded back -I came to conclusion this hotel has bad customer services from the leaderships and the front desk-they are rude and do not care . That is not what I expected from a Marriott property-I will report this to Marriott -hopefully in the future the guests will get a better service from this hotel
