The restaurant＞＞ the food is lousy and cold The rooms. there were random hairs in the bed The bathrooms smelled of homeless people You can hear everything going on in the hallways, and all I heard all night were the elevators. The best is they did not clean my room once.. No fresh towels, Nothing. when i went to complain at the desk they apologized yet did nothing about it. Just smiled and told me the manager would be in after the weekend. That was it for me.

We’ve stayed here before. Mostly nice staff. The bartender in restaurant on top floor was generous when she let us take a drink and soda watercolorist to room in styrofoam cups. The business is not part of the hotel’s. Breakfast staff is super nice. The valet guys are the absolute sweetest including Tyler, Davis and Kelly. Only problem was a wet dog smell in carpet which was immediately addressed. I still went to bed wheezing because while I love dogs, I’m super allergic. Place is showing some wear and tear but we might try it again as we pass through area on the way to see relatives. Good halfway point. Friends at area colleges too.

Vomit in the hallways, spent the night listening to industrial dryers. Had guests up and they almost vomited from the stench yes, they actually put people on that floor. unpainted ceiling patches, drywall dust on the vanity broken lamps. These people do not live up to the Hilton them choose another hotel. They didn’t return my call for complaints. I warned them this is going on social media.

Our room was well below Doubletree standards. The desk chair was worn out. Caulking on the bathroom sink was half gone. The shampoo and soap containers in the shower were detached from the wall. The air had been turned off in the room so when we arrived, it was Stuffy.

It is really not good. The Hilton Honors Wifi did not work. The AC was loud. No ice machine on the third floor. Had friends say their floors smelled mildewy. Would not stay again. Better options in town. Expensive valet as well.

While the DoubleTree Tallahassee may have some positive qualities, such as location or amenities, the cleanliness and maintenance concerns overshadowed the experience. Future guests may want to consider these factors before booking.

Restaurant chose not to open when I expected dinner. Coffee shop didn’t open at all. Place is dirty
