大溪地洲際水療度假村(InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa)

This hotel is beyond overpriced. I thought it was going to be a luxory hotel stay with 5* service but it wasnt. The room is as bog standard is it comes. The ocean view was really a partial view. The room smelt bad, like damp and the shower was the most complicated thing to work and the shower head could never be worked, only the rain shower option was doable. Whats worse is the room we were given was above the end of the restaurant. The restaurant workers would smoke below our balcony and that would waft up to our balcony. Moreover, it was a birthday stay and not once did the hotel do anything to recognize the birthday. Other hotels I have stayed in, in the past, would always provide complimentary cake or dessert or treats for a birthday. This hotel did absoultely nothing, despitw being informed. I would love to know how they get away with charging 5* prices without the 5* service. Highly dissappointing. The corridoors also are not kept up to standard and finding random holes in the ground was common.

Only thing I like was nice landscaping and staffs service. Food was terrible, dinner buffet was $75-100 per person, Totally not worth that much for buffet. I don't mind to pay $100, if food was good ! Thanksgiving turkey dinner was horrible, pre cooked turkey was so tought to chew and everything else was terrible. Need upgrade kitchen staff ! Room condition wasn't good and not worth it !

Beautiful property, pools, and even a turtle rehabilitation pool. When we checked in they offer a shower/changing room to get comfortable and you can check in your bags if you need to wait for your room to be ready. With our early morning arrival having these two amenities allowed to to relax and immediately enjoy everything they had to offer. Their concierge people arranged our transfers to and from the hotel. We were picked up promptly they handled our bags. They also have a tour company representative on site and we were able to set up a tour of the island…great tour. Food is a bit pricey but very good. This was a great place to stay and adjust to the time zone changes since we flew all the way from Florida. I recommend this place!!

It’s an ok hotel - not great, not bad. It’s big and crowded at times and the staff at breakfast wasn’t very nice. The location is convenient. The over the water bungalow was clean but had an awful smell (musty) which we masked with reed diffusers that we bought at the carrefour. There is an actual recent shipwreck in the water in front of the expensive bungalows, ruining the Moorea views somewhat. The staff at check and the concierge crew were all lovely.

We rented a bungalow over water and yes, we paid a great amount of money for it, but it was worth every penny. It was beautiful, clean, and we really enjoyed the view of Moorea and also snorkeling around it. The site with its two pools is also beautiful. If you have the chance to attend the show (Wednesday or Friday in August 2023), I strongly recommend it.

The facilities are lovely and there’s plenty places to sit and enjoy. It would pay to have an adults only area as people come to relax and spend a fair bit of money to do so and it was ruined a fair bit with screaming children at every point of the hotel.

Absolutely fantastic hotel resort so close to the airport you could even walk from there. No noise from air traffic due to the very limited number of flights. Excellent food options. Excursions and day trips can be booked directly in the hotel. I will definitely stay here again

We had a great stay at the Intercontinental Resort! Great property and staff! This property will be our “go to” when in Tahiti! Nothing negative to say at all about our stay; it was perfect!!!
