There is a DROP pool, a wood-fired pool on the covered terrace. During period 1.5. - 30.10. the pool can be freely used. In winter, the owner heats it up and charge is 100 € / time (paid directly to the owner by cash). Heating must be booked well in advance. The pool has a -15 degree limit (cannot be used if there is - 15 celcius or colder). The beach is 0.8 km away and can be reached along a way by car or by bike (bike can be rented from owner) or walking. The beach is hard and deep. Owner rents a lakeside sauna by extra cost 3 km away, there also beach suitable for children. Lakeside sauna's rent is 150 € / use. Owner will be heated sauna ready for clients. Payment on the spot to the owner. Next to Villa Ebba lives during summer time a couple of dozen of sheep. Guests can feed the sheep if they want. As an assistant there is professional shepherd / a herding dog Pike. The owners can gladly tell about the sheep and their treatment. Tervalepikko's sheep live under conventional conditions in the middle of meadow and forest. Please mention when you book the cottage if you need travel bed for babies and high chair. Owner will bring these to the cottage if needed. The owner can rent an outboard motor, recreational equipment (eg. canoes, bicycles, electric bicycles and fishing equipment), as well as a lakeside sauna. The electric car can be charged from the cottage's 3-phase socket, this must be agreed in advance with the cottage owner. Owner has two rental cottages (12927 and 12928) 2 km away. In winter (when there is enough snow), both freestyle and classic skiing trail starts from the yard of the cottage, length of 11 km. Villa Vehmas is a charming, cozy cabin ideal for a peaceful holiday, situated on a sunny grassy plot. Located 70 km northwest of Heinola, Lake Päijänne 25 m, with a gently deepening sandy bottom, own pier. A canoe and rowing boat available. The wooden villa, originally built in 1991, was renovated and expanded in 2024. The living room/kitchen includes a sofa bed for two. One bedroom has a double bed, and the other bedroom has a pull-out sofa bed for two. There is a bathroom with a shower, an electric sauna, and a separate WC. The spacious covered terrace, running the length of the house, faces the lake. The lakeside sauna was built in 1994 and renovated in 2024. The fireplace room has a refrigerator and a sofa bed, providing two additional sleeping places during the summer. The sauna has a wood-burning stove and a water cauldron. In winter, it’s possible to create an ice hole for swimming, with equipment available at the cabin. The owner can also prepare one for you for a fee of 30 euros, payable in cash on-site. Nice view from cottage and from sauna to the river which is lake like. Yard has large lawn, sand, pathways with stone slabs and forest as well as trampoline. In regard to its scenery and location this is one of the best cottage options in Hartola! Opposite shore 0.3 km, 2 neighbouring cottages (holiday cottage exhibition was held in this area in 2004), public fishing jetty 0.5 km. 2 jetties belonging to cottage only. Cottage has a lot of open space indoors. Sleeping areas are upstairs. Wifi. Riverside sauna has patio and wooden walkway to jetty and riverside terrace.
