愛琴海度假公寓(Aegean Apartments)

Horrible experience. The AC in one room did not work at all throughout the stay. In spite of repeated complaints, nothing was done about it, so we had to sleep in hot, muggy conditions every night. While checking out when we mentioned about this to the concierge staff and asked for a recompense, the man just threw out our luggage from the holding area and basically asked us to f… o..He was extremely rude, wouldn’t listen to our complaints and kept on saying that he doesn’t like “whingers “ and then shut the reception window on our face. A very expensive but very sad holiday experience.

We have been going to the Aegean Apartments for the past 18 years and it's always been wonderful! The apartments are always clean and welcoming and have all the amenities you need in a self-serviced holiday rental. It's close to the heart of surfers and all the area has to offer. Theme parks are only a 30 min car ride away. Going again in Jan 24 so looking forward to it :)

Aegean Apartment is excellent with a view to die for. Good staff and very accommodating. Location is next to Skypoint just metres away from the main beach area of Surfers Paradise. Very close to Cavills and restaurants. were in the sea facing superior two bedroom apartment on the 30th floor and had amazing views from all rooms. Will definitely stay there again.

Disappointing, especially for the children, that were given slightly over an hour’s notice that Office was closing an hour early – 1 p.m on a Saturday and we arrived at 1:03 p.m and could not get beach towels for a party of 9. The comments relate to the unrenovated apartment. (3 apartments in total) - Removed 4 partially used cakes of soap and long black hair from ensuite shower - Kitchen was very hot in the afternoon (faces west) as the blind for the kitchen had been removed. - Unable to cook breakfast as frypan was incorrect type for the cooktop. Did not provide a suitable one. - TV Remote didn’t work- had to manually change

We really enjoyed our stay there, the location was perfect, the apartment was very spacious and airy, the kitchen was full with all the equipments that required, very secure parking and close to the beach and restaurents, our stay was very relaxing, the rooms were comfy and the view from our apartment was amazing.

The place has a great location and offers a nice view, but is completely filthy and run-down, overpriced for what it offers, the ceiling is peeling and some mould marks, I doubt they do any clean up between rentals and only rely on the cleaning done by the guests. The toilet smelling like wee as soon as we walked into the apartment, we informed about it and only the toilet and stains from the wardrobe walls and floor were cleaned. I didn't dare to use the toaster, vacuum or pots as they were disgustingly dirty, the fidge and cupboard were the toaster and microwave are have a very bad smell and were dirty as well as around and the stove full of food stains (lack of cleaning) and the cupboard on top of he stove sticky with grasse stains, everything super dusty. When I booked the place it stated housekeeping as included, but when I checked in was told there's no housekeeping and if I wanted it arranged would cost extra. Towels and bedsheets not changed once during almost a week stay. We had a few cold days and when the blankets were needed they had stains of all types from food to blood, I'm sure if a UV light is used this place would be closed for business. I don't recommend it, the only positive is the location, but not even accesible friendly.

Our holiday apartment was on second floor, very noisy. Garbage truck and maintenance vehicles woke us up before 5 am, the building’s aircon units were making noises all night. The apartment needs desperately updating, all furniture is outdated, the carpet is disgusting and smells of cigarette (non smoking room!). The customer service was also disappointing as when I expressed my concerns about the above, no one responded to my email or returned my call. Wouldn’t recommend this place to families.
