Beso Del Sol

The unit was clean, within walking distance to the beach/stores however the property manager (Mindy) has racist characteristics. She was a bit bossy and contradicting to perpetuate her bossiness throughout my stay watching my every move with cameras on the property and who knows what else ..would i wanna stay there again? ...nah

the lady that works here is an absolute tyrant. She finds joy in watching your every move and just finding a made up reason to kick you out. I would never recommend staying here unless you want to feel like someone is stalking you. When we first booked, she didn't even want us staying because we didn't rent a "compact car" she finally agreed after making a big deal we couldn't have any visitors, no one under 21, etc. Supposedly after being there only 2 days out of 7, she said someone told on us for having someone under 21 staying there. not true. My husband didn't put up a fight because he didn't want to stay anywhere near this lady, even though all we had to do was show an id. How can this woman just go on the word of another guest that we weren't "old enough" to be there? She didn't even see us herself. Also, after getting this so called information, that probably didn't even happen, she went through our stuff in our room and determined based on the belonging we had, that we had someone under 21. She literally sifted through our belongings. She said she was allowed to go through our things because it was a private resort and that gave her the right. On top of all of this, there were dozens of bugs all over our bed while we were there. I have attached pics. So now, not being able to get a refund, we are out all of this money to not have to be near this woman but without a place to stay.

The property manager was first rate. She replaced a worn out DVD player, gave us extra beach towels to cover wet, out door chairs, helped reset a TV, lent us an umbrella and was basically available if we needed anything. The place itself had a Hispanic hacienda feel and was clean and tidy. They have a media room which we enjoyed for our New Year's Eve party and Game Nights. There's several movies available on site and books, puzzles and cards. There is no pool or exercise room here if you're wanting that but the beach is just across the way and we enjoyed walking on that every morning. They had beach chairs and umbrella available to borrow. There was a fire pit and a BBQ. The parking was a little tricky, you really do need a compact car to utilize it. All in all our stay was peaceful, comfortable and relaxing.
