斯托本維爾蔚景溫德姆飯店(Wingate by Wyndham Steubenville)

The woman at the front desk was rude, unfriendly, very unhelpful, and didn't care. We were only allowed 1 room key and when we asked if we could get another key made after midnight when one of our party made it in, she said she doubted it because they didn't have enough keys. When we asked again later, she said the same thing but also said that she wouldn't be there, so she didn't care. There was 3 in our room and 2 sets of towels. When we asked for an extra set of towels, she said they were out and that maybe if the next front desk shift felt like doing laundry, then maybe we could get one. Hotel was clean and nice, just not the front desk staff person we had to deal with.

Basically an "average" hotel. It is near the University with a couple of restaurants near-by. Not really a walkable area (hilly, lack of sidewalks). It is usually inexpensive and we stay there without worry.

Staff is incredibly kind, and helpful. It's definitely gotten 10x better the past few years. They do have a $250 deposir for those who live within 50 miles of the hotel but aside from that, the hotel is wonderful. The pool and gym has been down for quite sometime but there's the marina and some nice food places up the street. .

Bed was very comfortable. Good customer service. Staff greated you when passing or approaching their vicinity.

Property stated they had a pool and workout room! When we get there it’s closed for renovation. When this happens properties should be required to remove that they have a pool this was the only reason we stayed there. Then when we went down for breakfast and the breakfast was horrible then we turn to just get fruit instead and the bananas were all very brown not a little bit but a lot. And the oranges they had were all shriveled up! Yeah this was one of the worst experiences we have had.

We could easily hear the entire conversation of the people in the room next door to us. It was way too loud for us to be able to sleep fur sure, so we went to the front desk to ask about our options. We were told "Yeah, that happens here, we have thin walls. Most people just turn on the TV to drown out the noise of the other rooms." No understanding or wanting to help, and even acting so inconvenienced by our ask to switch rooms. We eventually called down to the front desk again asking if they could talk to the room next door and they did eventually do that. This was a different employee than the one we spoke with earlier. It did help and we just dealt with it the rest of the night. Do not book here if you want to risk the noise.

The good: Decent room. Everything worked and I was comfortable. Staff was competent and polite. The bad: Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Just skipped it the second morning of my stay. Could hear my neighbor upstairs every time he or she moved around the room. Missing ice maker and vending machine on my floor. Overall the just facility seemed a bit run down. Bottom line: Just an average hotel. There is a better option for a few more bucks next door.

The staff is great and accommodating to my and disabled friend. I would stay at this location again. Great!!

We checked into this hotel fairly late in the evening. Though we had a non-smoking reservation, the room reeked of smoke. It was late though so we got our kids in bed and they fell asleep quickly. As my wife and I slowly used different parts of the room we started to discover issues. There was a drop of blood and urine where the toilet seat clasps were. The shower was moldy and there was obvious water damage across the walls, rust and mold all over the fire sprinkler, and loads of hair behind the toilet against the wall. The bathroom trashcan had even been left unemptied. Manager didn't care.
