Melhor hotel da região, para quem não quer ficar dentro das vinícolas. Perfeito, rua tranquila, quarto impecável, banheira fantástica, roupões maravilhosos e o café da manhã no quarto fechou com chave de ouro. Melhor hotel que já me hospedei! Fantástico

This relatively new hotel is amazing! On a quiet street only minutes from the centre of town, it is an oasis of comfort with beautiful spacious rooms with everything you need including a large fridge, and a coffee pod machine. Although my room was next to the road, the double glazing made it very quiet. The hotel itself has a lovely terrace and lounge with 24Hr tea and coffee as well as an honesty bar and a plunge pool. Although there is no restaurant, breakfast is served in a restaurant just next door which also offers dinner but the hotel is also only a stones throw from many excellent restaurants in the town. Very importantly in this time of load shedding, the hotel and restaurant have a generator which means that there is no interruption to power at these times. Had 4 nights there and would have loved to stay for longer. Definitely somewhere I would like to go back to

This is truly an excellent hotel in Stellenbosch. It is around 1km walk from the main restaurants and bars. The rooms are beautiful and airy, the whole decor of the hotel is delightful and very in keeping with the buildings original purpose. The pool is small but perfectly formed and the pool area is immaculate. The honesty bar is well stocked and a great area to sit in. We had breakfast both mornings and dinner one night at the hotel and all was delicious. I will definitely be returning to this hotel, my o my complaint was I didn’t stay long enough.

Let me start with this, the room was immaculate. Charming, clean and with all the essentials. The breakfast was very nice with lovely staff as well!! The A/C went out on a 38 degree day (100 Fahrenheit). After a few calls, the nice man at the front desk arranged to fix it. Maintenance came to our room while we were away as planned, but to our surprise, didn’t actually fix the air conditioning so we were slept very hot uncomfortably, waking many times. There was also a dead rat stench in the bathroom wall that grew to be worse over the course of our two night stay (likely due to the heat). Though things happen, I communicated politely and discreetly with the staff and all seemed to fall on deaf ears. No offer to make things right which is substandard for such a highly rated hotel. I simply got a generic, oh, thank you for letting us know, we’ll make note of that. I would have expected some means of compensation or even a bottle of wine. But nothing. Strange. No help with getting our bags to our room upon arrival/checkin either which was rather strange.

In einem ehemaligen Gehöft befindet sich dieses wunderschöne, frisch renovierte Hotel. Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und geräumig. Das angeschlossene Restaurant „De Volkskombuis“ bietet sehr gutes Essen und lädt zu entspannten Abenden im Garten (für Kinder ideal) oder am Kamin ein. Die Anlage liegt in einer Sackgasse und wird rund um die Uhr bewacht. Man kann zu Fuß in die Innenstadt von Stellenbosch laufen. Das gesamte Personal ist extrem freundlich, zuvorkommend und motiviert. Wir haben uns wahnsinnig wohl gefühlt und daher spontan um eine Nacht verlängert.

The property was beautifully put together and a lovely glimpse into the history of Stellenbosch. Amazing breakfast at De Volkskombuis, close to Dorp Street, great restaurants and coffeeshops.

This is truly a hidden gem of a Boutique Hotel in Stellenbosch; the hospitality of the staff and management is classic five-star and then some. We stayed there at the beginning of Easter Weekend and on Easter Friday were surprised with a Breakfast Wine Box to true five-star standards... And! the General Manager himself was there to pack them; what a Mein Host with a supporting staff of true hosts that take care of every need you may have. Go ahead, stay there the next time you go to Stellenbosch...

We had room 10 and it was amazing. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and the decor was beautiful, very "Cape Dutch Architecture". We had breakfast at the restaurant next door and the food was great. We felt safe walking the area, a security guard was patrolling the main road.

Although I only had the opportunity to stay one day, everything was very enjoyable. The rooms were so well adapted and luxurious. The breakfast was so good. Variety and quality was really good. The outdoor area where we dined was beautiful. Will definitely be back!
