齊默布勞飯店(Hotel Zimmerbräu)

This family owned hotel, Hotel Zimmerbrau in St. Wolfgang, Austria was a welcome reprieve from the bustle of other parts of Europe. This hotel is situated on a lake and surrounded by majestic mountains. There is convenient parking, balcony rooms, breakfast included and is nestled in the heart of this beautiful town. Restaurants are easily located within walking distance. There are quaint shops, gorgeous vistas, and various trails to hike the Alps. A band plays in the town a few nights a week with dancing and cultural music. The family is so personable and helped with my rental car - reading the German car manual to help me put the right "petro" in at the gas station! The staff made "to order" omelets at breakfast. There was hot tea or coffee and pastries every afternoon. The owner even did some laundry for me at a very reasonable rate. They guided us to an appropriate level and distance hike in the Alps. This family was so kind and went out of their way to help us at every turn. I would HIGHLY recommend you stop at Hotel Zimmerbrau in St. Wolfgang for some restorative time in the Alps.

Das Hotel hat sich zwar verkleinert und bietet derzeit nur Nächtigung mit einem super Frühstücksbuffet an. Man fühlt sich aber in jeder Phase wohl und respektiert. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist aus Massivholz, dennoch hell und freundlich und hebt sich wohltuend von vielen großen Ketten ab. Das Bad ist geräumig und sehr gepflegt. Der Privatstrand wurde zwar nicht genutzt (der See hat noch 18 Grad), aber besucht. Wirklich nett. Auch das kostenlose Parken ist super.

Ein tolles Hotel...mit der Freundlichkeit der Chefin beim Empfang haben wir uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Das gesamte Personal ist überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sehr sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen.Gratulation an das gesamte Team!! Ein Hotel das zum Wiederkommen gerade einlädt!!

We were back in the Hotel Zimmerbräu this year, for the first time in about 15 years. It’s still a great hotel, in a great village in a fabulous location. Hans and Alex are great hosts, and go out of their way to look after you. Fabulous little touches, great room, helpful staff. You couldn’t really ask for more. It’s the third time we’ve been to the hotel over the years. Highly recommend it to anyone in the area.

A truly fantastic stay - excellent service from the moment we arrived. Was given heaps of helpful information including advice on where and how to park. The hotel is slap bang in the middle of the most picturesque place we have ever been. The room was traditionally Austrian (no A/C but manageable) with a welcome gift on the pillow and discounts for the local area emailed shortly after check in. The hotel provides coffee and pastries in the lounge in the afternoon and the breakfast was perfect with a huge selection (including an omelette stay) - the highlight was meeting Simba the furry mascot although each and every member of the team went above and beyond.

Second stay at Hotel Zimmerbrau - the first being in 2019. An absolute gem of a hotel perfectly located in the center of St. Wolfgang. Spotlessly clean, a breakfast which is the best I have ever had in Europe, free parking, and a private bathing area right on the lake with its own “Honor Bar” refrigerator. I am sure we will be back for a third stay some time in the future. Recommend without any hesitancy whatsoever.

Great traditional hotel in a beautiful Austrian town. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Great location for touring in the region. Hotel parking is a great addition. Would heartily recommend.
