EKO舒適住宿加早餐旅館(Eko Cozy Guest House)

Positive: host was mannerly. Our room looked clean. Pictures do not tell truth. Bathroom is an approx. 4 x 3 foot cubicle with toilet, bath and sink inside. The property was a small cared for looking wooden house, in a city village neighborhood. We visited with another couple due cancelled flight. Both of us, (couples), felt uncomfortable driving into neighborhood, more uncomfortable while waiting for front area to be emptied before entering the house. The room we were provided looked clean with a fan and A/C. Downside is that it was small, the air freshener so strong my wife got ill and bathroom, sorry to mention again but it stuck with us big time. We used the internet to find a hotel and find transport to pick us up even though it costs more than we possibly planned for. We advised the hosts we were comfortable and were leaving. He charged us $20 USD each for transport and allowed us to wait in the patio as opposed to curb as he had to leave. The other couple that we came with were also leaving. it was a very uncomfortable 5min wait for our ride to pick us up. Apologies to my wife for putting her through that. Through it all host was gracious in his speech. Advice - be prepared for reality before you get there. Willing to sign in and upload all over again

**DO NOT BOOK FROM THEM!!** Non-existent communication and terrible customer service!!! I booked a room with them weeks in advance before my arrival, they informed there were issues with my credit card (the same one I used to book every single night of my journey with no issues whatsoever), I updated the informations and asked them whether everything was good. I also told them if there were any issues I would have payed cash (it was listed as a payment option on their page). Never received a reply. I messaged them twice more to make sure everything was fine and still no reply. I messaged them again to book their airport transfer and they agreed to pick me up at the airport. They ended up cancelling my booking without even informing me while I was on the plane. On my arrival I called them 5 times and sent them 20x messages since they had agreed to pick me up at the airport. They never picked up and left me on visualised. Incredibly rude behaviour. Plese be aware of these people, you could end up like me alone in the airport with no place to go (also no free wi-fi or currency exchange at the aiport so not the best situation!!).

Very poor costumer service....booked my room, received itinerary and multiple welcome emails......when i got to my destination I was held back by immigration, stating that they called Eko Cozi and they said I don't have a reservation there.....They later stated that my credit card did not go through.....BLATANT LIE!!!! FIRST OF ALL I DID NOT USE A CREDIT CARD...I used my Bank card Savings Account, which had more than enough funds for the said transaction.....The amount of inconvenience this establishment put me through yesterday.....I will not in the near or distant future do any business with them or refer anyone to do so.....

#1 The owner overcharged me and threatened to throw me out during check-in, if I continue to scrutinize on this topic. He even didn't want to solve the issue during the 6 weeks since the reservation. If he would given me the option to cancel beforehand and get the refund, I would have taken it immediately, but he played dead until the day of check-in. He knows what he is doing. #2 Evening noise. If you want a quiet sleep, don't go there. The house is in a street with loud music until midnight every single day. #3 Morning noise. Right across the street, 10 meters from the house, is a small chicken farm with roosters starting to crow at 4am until 8am every 5-10 seconds right outside your window. Also, every single day. Earplugs don't help! (see the picture in attachment, on left the chicken farm, on right the accommodation) #4 The room does not contain a kitchen as advertised in the available room equipment, instead, this place is a house with several rooms and all share the same kitchen. For this setting, the accommodation is totally overpriced. #5 The room is too bright at night #6 You need to unlock 4 gates and doors until you're in the room. Same on the way out. And the owner is watching security cameras all day long. As I was once jumping over the small half-meter gate as I was in a hurry, I got contacted by Whatsapp that it's not allowed to jump over the fence. #7 The owner makes rules which are not listed in the advertisement. For example, no visitors are allowed.

It was one of the worst places we have ever been. Contacting was really bad or it didn’t exist at all. We asked many times if the owner was going to pick us up from the airport, but we didn’t get a good answer the day before we arrived. (We had already paid for the transportation.) When we arrived at the airport he didn’t answer at all. A taxi driver called him and finally he came almost two hours late. He had said to the taxi driver that he overslept. When we went to the gesthouse, our room wasn’t ready, after 8 pm! He started to clean our room and we got it after nine. We immediately noticed that the room was not the one we had booked. He said that there is only one room available, and that the rooms are all the same (which is a lie). We could either take it or leave, in which case he would return our money. If you are tired and in a new city you don’t want to look for a new accomodation at that time at night. So we took the room. Next morning he came and told us my credit card was not working! I had paid for the room almost one month ago. So he was doing something behind our backs, and canceled our second day reservation. We had to leave from the accomodation. He lied to us all the time. So, be very careful if you are booking that accomodation!!! I can’t recommend that place!!! Only one good thing, we got back our money of the second day booking. You can also read other people’s opinions of him on other websites.

Only about the surrounding noise, it could be justified by the location right into the city. But the biggest problem is that YOU GET MUCH LESS THAN ADVERTIZED. We booked for "a studio, including complete bathroom and a private kitchenette".That was a lie ! This place has 3 bedrooms, two of them each with a small fridge and small micro-waves (like any bedroom has elsewhere), that SHARE a common kitchen with no dining table, but just a narrow counter instead. There is a picnic table outside; but under bad weather, you end sitting on your bed with your plate on your hands. And concerning the "complete bathroom", it's rather an added glass cubicle of 1,5 m2 with a toilet and a shower that splashes all around. We met other guests whith similar complaints about having found NOT WHAT THE PLACE ADVERTIZES. Antigua-and-Barbuda offers plenty of nice accomodations, managed by honest owners. But steer clear from that EKO-COZY reef !

Its clean quiet and they have options on where to stay staff are super friendly safe i recommend this guess house

Absolutely the Bed!!! Prince was a Fantastic Host! As we entered into the doors we noticed how clean it was. There after we saw the amazing ceiling fan along with a AC and beautiful colours inside the unit. The bed was sooo comfortable. We would definitely Stay there again and assure anyone that likes a extremely clean place and a great bed Eko Cozy Guest House is the Place 💯
