梅泰裡溫德姆速 8 飯店(Super 8 by Wyndham Metairie)

Excelente hospedaje para unos días, cerca del aeropuerto. Aunque no hay transporte público cercano pero el Uber y lyft llegan a esa área. El desayuno sencillo pero muy bueno. También hay un lugar que se llama picadilly para comer al cruzar la calle más abajo hay una tienda Target muy conveniente y tiendas de conveniencia en puestos de gasolina para cosas de último detalle y necesidad.

It was clean and that was about all that was good about it. It had no indoor pool or hot tub and the hotel had the outdoor pool closed for the season. The beds were rock hard. It hurt my ribs to lay on it. The door had been jimmied before and just painted over. The tavern across the street was entertaining to watch the fights in the parking lot. We didnt get breakfast so i cant tell you if it existed or not. What a waste of my points.

The WORST place to stay, do not stay here. Our first room, we couldn’t even get in for a few minutes because it was stuck until we pushed it in with some force. The toilet was not working so we had to try to get them to fix it. They didn’t. They put us in another room that you would think is better, but it wasn’t. The room was somehow worse than the first one. There were dead ants on the bed, the bathtub drain was blocked and would not let water out. You have to wait a while in between showers for the water to go down, the ceiling in the bathroom was leaking, the bathroom door was just a piece of wood, the towel rack was broken and was hanging off the wall, the floors were dirty and you could feel the dust under you’re feet if you didn’t wear slippers for even a second. And in both rooms, our doors couldn’t lock properly unless you slightly lifted the door. The room literally looked like it was still under construction….. this place shouldn’t even be on *******! Don’t book!

Was refused service at this location. First room lock was broken and neither the desk agent nor I were able to enter the room. Second room sinks were clogged with standing yellow rusty water. Third room I tried the bathroom sink and tub faucets but there was no hot water. The desk agent said to wait 5 minutes. It should not take this long for hot water but I waited and the water was still cold. Fourth room had the same water issue. After this, the desk refused service and told me to leave.

Choose this hotel for price, location and most of all the hotel staff. This is the first time I've actually done one of these surveys for a hotel. I did it for a reason. Stay here, you won't regret it

Got there a bit early and went to front desk to let them know I was there in case the room became available The guy at the front desk was on a cell phone the entire time on speaker with someone speaking Spanish . After waiting two hours and never hearing from them I finished went back in as it was now regular check in. Once again the guy still had the cell on speaker with the same loud lady blaring through the other end. Dude acts like he has never seen me before and asks what I need. Totally unprofessional but then again it’s probably no great surprise with this chain.

I checked into this property Thanksgiving night. The next day I was unable to get into my room. I assume my key was demagnetized. To my surprise the rude male front desk agent stated I wasn't in his system. I removed my sunglasses and asked " Do you not remember checking me in?" He stated yes and claimed he couldn't manipulate the system and that I was not a guest there and my reservation had been canceled. I called Wyndham Customer service, she called the property and the agent told her I was a no call no show and she asked how was I charged he stated they take the full amount for not showing up. I explained this is a lie. How was I able to obtain keys to the room and receipt if I never showed up ? STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL AND LOUD CLUB ACROSS THE STREET. THIS PLACE IS FRANCHISED OPERATED . I'm not even sure why Wyndham have these people under their umbrella. They don't meet the standards with their slight surface renovations. The owners live on property yet couldn't come down to explained why was my reservation canceled, a new one couldn't be made, or a recommendation to another property. Wyndham said its nothing they can do pitiful! 3 lies told; I'm not in the system, reservation canceled, and no call no show. Stay away! The name doesn't even read Fairbridge garbage. A lie from the beginning and to think being Hindu he constantly calls on the name of Jesus! Call me and explain how do I have receipts and key cards with your property name?

Stay was horrible the outside of the property was nasty. Staff had bad attitude and was not willing to accommodate me or my friends that had rooms. We checked out early and never received our money back

I sent pictures and requested a refund due to, not able to take a bath/shower, only a wash off due to water very slowly drains from bathtub and black gravel-like debri came up the drain and remained in the tub after water finally completely drained from the tub. I placed the DO NOT Disturb sign on my door each day but the cleaning staff went in my room the 1st day when I left the room, removing towels & bath rug from my room and left the curtains open. then the next day sign remains on the door and they still attempted to enter the room while I was sleep. I notified the man at the front desk both days and the woman upon my departure on the 3rd day. The man reported he submitted a claim for someone to come and fix the tub---NO ONE EVER CAME!. IT WAS A NIGHTMARE OF A STAY!, especially after having an emergency at my home--which is the reason I had to get a hotel. I was not informed that breakfast was available.
