Local muito simpático e bastante típico da região. Tem bons quartos, confortável e limpo. A localização é próxima à estação de trem e centro da cidade, portanto, muito estratégica para qualquer passeio. A comida servida no hotel é excelente, com pratos bem elaborados e bem apresentados.

I cannot believe this awful place is a prize winner. It is noisy dirty and damp. The food is woeful, a carribean curry the colour of dung and the flavour of a sock. The manager just plain down offensive. The only hotel where I preferred to leave midtrip, despite being charged for a full stay. Tripadviser, you really must check these places out for yourself.

Friendly staff welcoming pub with good drinks. We only had breakfast and dessert but both were very good. We had no problems getting in the hotel’s car park which is about one minute away the rooms are slightly dated depending were your room you could have a lot of trafic noise.

I'm pleased to say this hotel exceeded my expectations as it was my first stay in this Cornish town. It is a listed building in the town centre so has lots of character and provides great value for the price in very well furnished and comfortable surroundings. We had a standard room which was their base level and were completely happy to have everything needed for our four night stay in our room. The breakfast menu is extensive included in the price and perfectly cooked. We also chose to have our evening meal there as well and found the quality to be far above average with all of our choices cooked and served by well trained staff. Happy to highly recommend .

Absolute delight to stay at the White Hart. Brilliant welcome at the reception and the booking in was, without, any problems and we had the feeling nothing was too much trouble. The menu for my wife,who is vegan,was excellent with a super choice,which is unusual these days Please pass on our thanks to all the staff and we will see you again. Chris Honey

My wife and I recently had a Sunday roast with hot pudding at this lovely old hotel. The so called medium portion was generous, tasty, perfectly cooked and well presented . It was also reasonably priced and the staff were all friendly and polite. We intend going back, and would recommend it to others . The only thing we felt that could be improved was the funereal decor of the restaurant, but you can avoid this by eating in the lovely cheery bar area !

Walked into the white hart soon as we walked through the door we was welcomed with open hands the stall was friendly and professionally especially Makal (sorry if I spelt his name wrong) everyone seems like they were enjoying there job. The meals we had were cooked with perfection , i felt like there was a friendly atmosphere. When I come back to st austell I will make another visit to the white hart

After leaving the Eden Project, went into the town of Saint Austell for a look and found this pub. Looked lovely from the outside and was just as nice inside. Stayed for a couple of drinks. The only negative was the barman, he just seemed creepy was staring at me and my friend and really made her feel uncomfortable so we decided to leave.

Clean and comfortable rooms with good facilities. Brilliant breakfast, also dined in the evening and the food is really good, very generous portions. All the staff are really helpful and friendly. Would stay here again and would definitely dine here again!
