Fabulous comfortable rooms with huge beds and gorgeous bathrooms and toiletries. Top quality food ( particularly the fish dishes and breakfast) and entertainment and the staff throughout were welcoming, professional and efficient. Loved our stay and look forward to the next one.

The ship is simply the best! We had a birthday party in the cabin and it was absolutely wonderful. From the stunning views across the beach where you can watch the kids play safely to the excellent better than bar food served promptly, piping hot and with great charm. From the minute we spoke to the lovely Fiona who organises the events we knew we were in safe, caring hands! Then we met James who oversaw the party on the day. Wow what a gem of a guy! He's kind and capable and great with kids and grannies but also has great pizazz and a wicked sense of humour. A mean dancer himself he has a fab sound system in the cabin for all of us dancing queens if you want to boogie. Our guests were bowled over by all these wow factors and declared it worth the drive from anywhere in Scotland! By the end of a fantastic day we were left in no doubt at all that our Ship had well and truly come Inn!!

Beautiful seaside hotel! Stayed Easter weekend for my partners birthday! Staff were amazing, everyone made sure we had the most special time! Captains sea view room was immaculate and spacious. Dinner was beautiful with lovely wine, oysters then steak and haddock for mains. We were served by Hope who is an absolute credit to your hotel!. So attentive, efficient and made us feel so welcome even with a full restaurant of other guests! Working in the hotel industry it is so appreciated when you are really looked after by staff. Thank you to everyone for a lovely weekend! Can’t wait to come back for more than just one night, it is simply not enough.

The hotel room was lovely, comfy and had excellent views. The bathroom was excellent and breakfasts amazing. The restaurant food was good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The Elie coast is a gorgeous part of the world.

Stayed for a night while walking the Fife Coastal path. The staff were very welcoming when we arrived and the rooms were large. The beds were very comfortable for a good night's sleep. The dinner was excellent and breakfast sent us well on our way the following morning.

We had great stay at The Ship inn with a lovely room with quality extras like coffee machine, quality soaps and shampoo in the bathroom and great big bed. Excellent food from the restaurant and a fantastic range of local beers and spirits from the bar with inside and outside seating and finally great staff in a busy bar/ restaurant

The view alone was worth it with a wide lookout over the sands and to the village Gorgeous room and bathroom with a huge bath as well as walk in shower Window seat with binoculars in thhe bedrom and quirky furniture with a huge bed and sparkling bedding The room was very clean Good food all round and great service from a lovely bstaff group The upstairs dining room also has views Stairs a bit of a challenge but I did know that when I booked It's not cheap but worth a treat!

This hotel is set in a wonderful location with rooms overlooking the sandy beach of Elie.Everything you could possibly require is available in the Admiral Nelson room we had during our stay.Meals are fantastic and all the staff are so friendly we will definitely be coming back and recommend to family and friends

We visited this area never having been there before and so glad we did especially having found this super place to stay. Couldn't fault it in any way from the initial meet and greet to enjoying a drink at the bar and chatting to the lovely staff to enjoying a quality meal in a superb restaurant to going to our fabby room with that stunning view. Perfect! We will return and will tell others of our find.
