The only reason I did not give an "excellent" rating is because the lady (Alicia) trying to coordinate my shuttle ride from the airport to the hotel was not properly trained and so she did not give clear instructions as to where we were supposed to await the shuttle. She called me several times in attempt to coordinate and I could hear the frustration in her voice, and she also hung up on me abruptly more than once (I assume to call the shuttle driver). And so there was a huge delay in our getting transported to the hotel. Once we arrived at the hotel she did not offer an apology, she didn't even greet us with a smile. I was very tempted to confront her, but decided not to because it was Chris**as Eve. I did discuss this with another employee Shelby, mostly so that they could give Alicia proper training so that it doesn't happen to another customer. I chose the Hampton Inn over other hotels because of the positive reviews regarding their airport shuttle service. So they should really get that part right. Shelby was very professional and helpful. I really appreciated how she handled my issue, and also the manner in which she did so. Very professional.
