My experience was good not great in that it will not be a memorable experience and I will most likely try a different hotel/inn next time. Which I am really surprised about because of the fact that I have been at a coue of 3 star hotels in spokane that were way more and the doubletree is supposed to be a 4 star. The best part was the breakfast very tasty. The room was clean enough but out dated there were a few cheap upgrades not what I would have expected from a 4 star hotel.

A lot of people were staying that night, that attended the same event (Broadway play) as us. Many, many people came back afterward and wanted to sit in the bar to hang out and discuss but there was nothing open. Also, no coffee bar was set up in the morning. Very poor amenities.

The breakfast buffet was outstanding, not the usual run of the mill hotel breakfast. The outside noise in our room on the 15th was unbearable as we were woken up numerous times by traffic noise. King room was very small, bathroom uncomfortably small, and inferior to other hotels in the same price range. The restaurant/lounge hours were very inconvenient, closing at 10m on a Friday night. With so many hotel options in downtown Spokane, I will choose another next time I'm in town.

Fire alarm in my room went off at 5am and 3am (2 separate nights). I called to ask front desk about evacuating and they said that this happens and they will shut it off… what…? Nice way to wake up 2/3 night stay. Bathroom exhaust fan didn’t work and made it almost impossible to see when getting out of shower, so just about fell and took cold showers the rest of the 2 days there. Asked for some type of refund on the room itself, they said unable to through 3rd party. Asked for manager to call me since check out was too early, never received a call back. The restaurant in the hotel smelt like dead fish, and could be tolerated enough to just order your food. Starbucks was good though….

Hotel is outdated. Overpriced rooms with extra fee for parking. Beds were hammocks. It was not horrible but definitely not nice or worth the price.

My room had not been serviced adequately at all. Kleenex was empty. No hand soap for bathroom sink. Extra roll of toilet paper was disgusting as it had previously been leaked on and dried out. Completely grossed me and made me wonder if the bedding had actually been changed and was clean bedding.

Could have been my phone but the digital key never worked. Had the Front Desk reset it and I followed all procedures provided by front desk but never worked.

The web site says parking is available but you are charged for it at $22.00 per night. The same for wifi, its availabe but it costs $7.95 per day and also a charge for local calls at $.75 each. I feel the web site should have said have stated there is a fee for these items. If we hsd known we would have not stayed there.

lots of hidden fees that are not mentioned during booking. Sheets were not clean..

Hotel staff was very nice, room could have been a little cleaner. The older interior hold stains and makes it feel less clean, but I would stay again if I was to ever go to back to Spokane.

Wonderful stay! Room was impeccable. Staff very helpful and positive in their approach to answering questions. Enjoyed dinner and later dessert at Spencers. Food and service were awesome. Very convenient to stay here and access the show in the nearby theatre.
