bathroom had hair on the shower walls, did not belong to us, dirty floor. shower gel empty. tea coffee empty. dust in places, we are both asthmatic, raised issues in the morning as it was late when we arrived and quickly went out for supper. next morning we could see the dirt. good nights sleep.

Hotel was very clean and had anll the facilities we needed. The staff were brilliant, welcoming, friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again and have no reservation in recommending.

Just spent the night here while at the Bruce Springsteen show - the staff were all very lovely and welcoming but the restaurant staff went above and beyond. They even remembered my husband was GF the next morning after we had checked in. Excellent service.

Absolutely fabulous stay, excellent service by Sara in reception, couldn’t have been more helpful. Clean room excellent, well done team Premier Inn Cardiff South.

Bad area. Rooms were dated and not in best condition. Unclean towels , Really old tv's and small rooms and hotel itself. Breakfast wasnt to cheap but really tasty and filling, Staff were really nice, secure free parking and amazing beds. It was poor

Pleasant stay, staff were welcoming and friendly. Room was spacious and comfortable. Nice to have tea and coffee available in the room. Overall good experience.

Have stayed in many Premier Inns, but this wasn't the best. Good location, free parking, comfy bed as usual, quiet. Standard of cleaning poor. No bath which we look forward to after a long day's travel. Didn't realise that Premier Plus rooms have a shower instead. Heating didn't work. Had to wait for an hour for our evening meal at adjacent Brewers Fayre.

Apon arrival we were met with an empty reception and waited around 10 minutes before someone came out. Once the long haired gentleman did get behind the counter he asked if he could help now as we got there just after another older couple we waited for them to go to the reception desk, however before they could get there the receptionist informed us that " he didn't have all day or time to wait" which set the tone for the rest of our encounter with him. We wanted early check in (12pm) which seemed to annoy him further as he huffed before saying he's only got 3 rooms ready and he supposes he will have to do everything. The rest of our stay was fine the room wasn't terrible although the shower/bath was warm not hot , besides that the room wasn't bad but our room faced the road and was rather loud although it wasn't the fault of the hotel. The car park was covered in litter and the reception area had dust and cobwebs throughout. We didn't visit the bar/restaurant so can't comment on that. It must be said that every other member of staff we encounter was very friendly and professional.

This is our go to hotel when attending events in Cardiff and usually stay here every couple of months. I like the location as easy to get to off the motorway and plenty of free parking included. The city centre is within a 15-20 min walk or an Uber is really cheap usually less than £6. You know what you’re getting with a premier inn, budget accommodation but good service and decent rooms. On this visit though we were left disappointed. The room was grubby and run down. Marks on walls and carpets. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned, the sink was dirty, hair around the bath. The was one towel for 3 guests and it had a nasty brown mark on it! Woodwork in the bathroom was rotten and dirty and needed replacing and the bathroom ceiling was mouldy. In the room a ceiling panel had been removed and not put back exposing dusty and dirty pipes and vents. There was a huge hole/rip in the quilt cover! Was also disappointed this trip with the breakfast, the whole area again looked not dirty but grubby, food was cold / Luke warm and tasteless. Limited continental choice no cheese etc. pancakes and crumpets like rubber and no muffins as advertised.
