懷拉拉帕國敦索爾韋公園飯店(Copthorne Solway Park, Wairarapa)

It was a comfortable stay after a long day. Indoor amenities are also there whenever the weather is not great. One thing though was that when we arrived in to our room, there were no toiletries. We arrived late and tored so did not have energy to ring reception to ask for toiletries, good thing we brought our own.

A really good breakfast selection. Staff helped out with the power cut in our wing and gave us another room temporarily for the girls to blow wave their hair. A couple of lights were not working in the room. Getting on to wifi would be a challenge for some folks who were not techno.

My room this stay was scruffier than on previous stays, though housekeeping responded quickly to problems. I come here for the pool and the restaurant’s vegan menu, which is delicious. However the restaurant service was appallingly slow this time even with very few customers and I was shocked at the unhygienic procedures employed when resetting the table next to me. Because of this I won’t eat at the Grill again but would still stay at the hotel for its other facilities.

The taste of restaurant was so good , and front staff was so kindly.

Good place to stay. Good sized rooms, very good staff, very helpful. Seemed like good amenities but was late when we arrive and raining when we left. Some areas in need of a little TLC

Very well appointed room with all xtra toiletries, tea andcoffee bar. Very clean and comfortable!

Have stayed at this property before over 20yrs ago and seems like nothing really has changed inside the rooms. House keeping staff can be loud at times and did wake me up a couple of occasions with the noise they were making outside my room. But other than that lovely hotel, very clean rooms and lovely facilities which cater for families. Did not get a chance to try the restaurant but will do next time.
