Quite good complimentary breakfast Spacious and comfortable room

The breakfast staff and food options were excellent. I love the property and the shared bathrooms were plentiful and very clean. We did have a communication issue the day we checked in. We were due to arrive around 8:30 pm so I called that afternoon to make sure the restaurant would be open and again at 8 pm and both times no answer. We didn’t find out it was closed until it was too late to go anywhere else. After explaining that to the gentleman at the front desk, he just shrugged his shoulders and said an email was sent out to all the guests about it, but we never received that email. We picked this place specifically for the restaurant so it was a big disappointment. I feel like we could have been offered something to purchase, as it is a farm. There is a shared kitchen, if you take your own food. Always carry snacks in Iceland, just in case.

What a great spot!! Family farm run by super helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were spacious and beds very comfortable! An excellent place to spend a night or few plus a great place to do day trips from in southern Iceland.

Chambre (numéro 4) calme malgré son emplacement juste à côté de la porte d’entrée. Propre, bien dormi , douche commune très propre et grande. Coin cuisine pratique (peu de vaisselle.. couvert) . Petit déjeuner buffet copieux . Personnel agréable.

This place was only about 10 km from Vik…and cheaper than Vik options. You do have shared bathrooms, but it is very clean with a full shared kitchen if you want to cook your own meals. This is a working farm with chickens, goats and sheep. The lamb for dinner is from the farm and simply prepared. It was the best food item I had my entire trip. Staff was incredibly friendly. Service with a smile. My favorite stay in Iceland.

This place was amazing. I wish we had stayed here longer. The staff was kind, generous, and flexible. The room exceeded all expectations (cute, comfortable, clean). The breakfast was delicious, and I appreciated that they had a variety of foods to eat. We stayed in 5 different locations while exploring South Iceland and this place was by far my favorite. Highly recommend to anyone visiting.

Must take shoes off when entering. The WiFi password is within a picture frame on the wall at the entrance, and we couldn’t log on until we figured out those aren’t ohs; they are zeros. And that’s not an 8; it’s a B. The bathroom floor is old and the tiles just don’t get clean. Give the hot water some time. But we liked the place. The cafeteria was a nice place to eat. The bed was comfortable.
