This was supposed to be a dream getaway which turned to be a nightmare. Let me start with the positives 1. Mansoor at the check- in - absolute gem. Epitome of customer service. 2. Young Indian lady at the restaurant during breakfast- eager to ensure good service. Now the nightmare 1. The hotel is literally covered in pigeon poop and no one seems to be bothered. 2. Checked- in and decided to call room service for lunch. Tried 2 times. Kept ringing and no one bothered to answer. Finally get a call back after 35 mins asking if we still want to order 3. Decided to have the sofa bed opened up. Whoa - cushions are torn and dirty. Picture attached. 4. Went out to the balcony. The wooden railing seems to have never been polished since the hotel opened up in 2009. 5. Looked down from the balcony and again see bird poop everywhere and seems like it’s been there for ages with no one bothered to clean. 6. Raised a complaint and was offered an upgrade as a service recovery. 7. Go into what was supposedly a suite with a kitchen area. Lo behold - the kitchen area has nothing. There was space for an electric stove but no stove. No cutlery, no dishes, no cutlery. 8. In the bathroom, the close up mirror was defective. 9. There was a notice next to the tub to use the rubber mat but no rubber mat. 10. There was a TV with Netflix, Prime and Apple - great - but you had to use your own sign-in 11. The fruit platter was stale. 12. Morning breakfast- they ran out of sambhar and added boiling water to the remaining one. Could hear so many guests complaining. 13. Took a stroll down to the pool area. Again bird poop everywhere. Seems like cleanliness was the last priority. This hotel needs to literally close down and clean up. Even the Crowne Plaza signage outside had pigeon poop.
