A very pleasant stay, staff very helpful and attentive,the hotel very comfortable, the food was of a high standard, a nice hotel

I'm not a demanding hotel customer - I'm really only looking for a comfortable room and a half-decent shower in the morning. The room was OK, but I'm afraid I have a sense of humour failure when the shower is cold. To make things worse, without authorisation they billed me £91 for accommodation, even through I had prepaid. When I complained, they refunded me, but £10 short. I've complained again, but received no response.

I stayed over at the Cedar Court whilst on a 2 day training course. I was overall satisfied with my stay… the hotel is spotless! There is a fairly well sized carpark at £4 per stay… There are a lot of steps within the property but there is a lift, and adaptations for disabled people such as ramps and wheel chair lifts. Another surprising factor is that it allows pets! Although some may have found the restaurant to be pricey, I felt the quality of the food to be very much above standard, I did find their could be slight improvement to the menu to support vegans, as my choices were restricted, but saying that, the vegan burger I chose was the most delicious I think I have tasted to date! And good size portion too. My double room had the biggest bed I’ve ever seen in a hotel, and I have stayed in many… it was comfy, all needs were thought of as I had use of a tv with free Netflix (and other apps/services) a kettle for tea, a coffee machine, both with adequate supplies for 2 days, an ironing board and iron, electric fan, and complimentary bathroom products, which were also vegan. My only negative feedback would be the tap in the bathroom was loose from the actual sink, making it difficult to turn on the tap, and the noise at 2.36am from a drunk couple who obviously were oblivious to the door slamming they repeated several times, but it is a hotel with other people so I guess you cannot have it all… would I stay there again or recommend this hotel?? - most definitely!

As a person with mobility issues the hotel is not very accessable. The disabled parking in the car park is at the bottom of around 20 steps that lead to the main doors. From reception you have to go up 4 steps to get to the corridor that leads to the rooms, there is a platform but as a non wheelchair user this was not offered as an option. To get to the room where our event was being held i had to come down from the second floor, through reception and up the stairs to the second floor! No other option than the stairs was mentioned. Breakfast was good (i had continental) and scrambled eggs were made fresh on request.

Arrived late at night on a Saturday. There were drunk people staggering about outside which was a bit off putting but once in reception, I was greeted by a super friendly chap who explained that there was a party going on. He checked me in and could not have been more efficient, making me feel at ease in the hotel despite the ruckus. It was a long long walk to the room, and several sets of stairs to negotiate. When I got there, there was a strong smell of **** in the corridor. The room was very dated, but it had everything I needed for a one night stopover. The location is VERY convenient for hopping on and off the motorway. I would stay again if I needed a quick pit stop.

Well my room had been upgraded when o arrived after a 5 hour drive … little to my knowledge it was going to be charged i argued this and 2 weeks after I left I had to call for my refund… then to the parking I paid parking when I left … 14 days after I get home I now have 2 parking fines from the hotel I called to have more information on this and again argue my point and I now have had no contact just from this experience I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone it’s been nothing but a head ache from what I thought would be a nice few days away over new year to visit family

We enjoyed our stay except for the member of staff at breakfast. He followed us around, kept standing next to our table with his arms folded, got my partners meal wrong and wandered around while we were eating. This was very off-putting and unnecessary when all we wanted was to eat.
