The hotel is in a good local, near to the main spots. It.is possible to go walking and visit the places

The property was great, but what would make me second think about booking again would be the hidden fees. After I paid for the hotel and after I checked out, I was charged $35 for valet. Like why wasn’t this included in the pricing at the beginning. I hate thinking I’m going to pay $375 then end up paying $435. That kind of ruins plans because we split the hotel between two people and now someone pays more than the other because of the hidden fees

This hotel pretends to be modern. Under the guise of modernity, may important features are missing. We were a family of 3 staying in a room with two queen beds. The separation between the bedroom and the sink/shower are was just a wall that went 3/4 way to the ceiling. The toilet was separated by a sliding door that would not lock. The sink/shower was separated from the entry area by a DIRTY black curtain that did not reach the floor and would not adequately cover wall to closet. There was not enough space to unpack our clothes and so we lived out of our roll abroad. If you had a check-in suitcase, good luck storing that! There was no ironing board or iron until we requested it but then we had to store it leaning against the only closet which had not doors. I forgot to take pictures as it would have been easier to just post them rather than explain. The walls are thin and a group of young athletes were very noisy (which would not have been a problem if the noise reduction was adequate). The front staff are very pleasant and there is coffee and lemon water always available in the lobby. The hotel is very accessible to SCAD museum and Broughton street is only 7 minutes walk. Location is the only major attraction for this hotel. I expect better from Marriott Bonvoy!

I looked at options for us way before arriving. The reviews were good. We were only staying the night and we’re getting there late so didn’t want to spend a lot. Well you get what you pay for! The road noise was like our window was open, the tv remote only worked to turn it on, you had to unplug it for off. The person greeting us was lackluster. The air in the lobby area had a strong smell like men’s cologne. The room was so small! We say the Embassy Suites across the street and wish we would have stayed there.

I have to admit, I was nervous given the negative reviews but the property was very good! -Beds/pillows were comfy -Shower bathroom area was spacious/clean -I appreciated the small, curved couch w/oval table in the corner for dining or, in my case, work on the laptop -In-room fridge as well. Everything was clean, staff was just fine and I liked all the work or cozy social spaces they had. Pool table some tabletop games were great options if you were taking a break from the city. I would definitely stay here again. The location just can't be beat.

The interior is unique and amazing. If you're tired of the one size fits all hotel experience, this is the one for you. The staff was...lackluster. The evening crew behaved as though I was bothering them and responded either silently or with one word responses. Parking was tricky and they are apparently short staffed, so it was two trips and a phone call before I was able to park. The young woman manning the desk in the morning was chipper, friendly, but completely overwhelmed and couldn't help me. The computer mouse wasn't working and this created a professional situation for me, but with breakfast and a line of guests, there was nothing she could do. The place is worth a view, but I'd recommend hiring more people and training the ones there in problem solving and customer service.

The only place to park was a parking deck but was "valet only", and added $35 to your hotel bill. Also, there was more often then not, no attendant to take your car so we had to just wait at the entrance of the parking deck to be let in. A hat we purchased from the shops also went missing from our car, which it would have been ridculous to take all our bags to the hotel room, which there would be no need had there not been enforced valet. The carpet did not look clean and the area nor the building felt safe. The king room had no door for the bathroom so no privacy to shower with glass doors. Won't be back.

Absolutely awful. You cannot get into any of the 40 glass doors, and this seems to entertain staff watching you try. Valet parking? Gate was lifted by invisible valet. No one parked our car or told us how to access the building from the garage. Tremendous frustration, desperate cleanup attempt by friendly management. The room was a whole nother piece of hell. It smelled of floor glue and was covered in construction dust! The wall in the shower area doesn't come down to the floor, dressing and sink area no better than a fitting room with a shower exposing electrical wires and cords, major safety issues!!. TV not movable or centered to beds overall a complete disappoin**ent to the Marriott standards.
