吉務吉勒納飯店(Giuggiulena)

Ho soggiornato per cinque notti in questo delizioso b&b,ritrovandomi con la mia famiglia arrivata dall'estero.La vista mozzafiato sul mare mi ha lasciato senza parole.La cordialità e simpatia di Sabrina e Claudia,la loro disponibilità,ci hanno fatto sentire coccolate per tutto il tempo.Colazione fantastica.Una esperienza bellissima!!!!

Coming to the Giuggiulena we understood the meaning of a "hidden gem". Our room was right on the sea with a private terrace. It is also possible to walk down to the sea or go to the sundeck on the roof. It is run by two lovely sisters who made us feel welcome the moment we arrived. They have only three parking space available so it is necessary to reserve. Great breakfast room overlooking the sea. It was very relaxing to hear the crashing of the waves the rocks and it felt like being IN the sea :)

I booked 2 days at the GIUGGIULENA and stayed for 9 days. This property is so sweet and magical. I never slept so good anywhere. I loved my room so much that I wish I could have taken it with me. Sabrina and Claudia are the two sisters who run the place and I felt like I was reconnected with long lost family. I am so grateful to have found this place.

We had a lovely stay and the staff is just amazing, thank you so much for your hospitality. Ortigia is just a short drive away and the view from the balcony / breakfast area was breathtaking, plus amazing cakes and the best scrambled eggs we had for ages. Ein wunderbares kleines persönlich geführtes B&B mit gigantischer Lage direkt am Meer. Wer Meeresrauschen bzw. die Gischt an den Felswänden nicht mag, darf hier nicht wohnen. Alle Zimmer mit kleinem Balkon sind zum Meer hin ausgerichtet u durch die Felsen direkt u ter dem Hotel ist es nachts ganz schön laut. Man hört nichts von der Strasse, keine Stimmen - man hört einfach nur das Meeresrauschen. Hier kann man völlig sorglos bei offenem Fenster schlafen, denn da steigt garantiert niemand ein. Alles sehr sauber, gepflegt und nett dekoriert. Wenn das Wetter mal schlecht sein sollte kann man im Foyer (auch Frühstücksraum) gemütlich sitzen. Das Frühstück ist für italienische Verhältnisse sehr üppig! Neben den üblichen süssen Teilchen (Gebäck u Kuchen) wird auch Salamie, deftiger Käse, Oliven, Tomaten, Müsli, Obst, Yoghurt usw. angeboten. Sabrina gibt gerne Restauranttipps und ist sehr hilfsbereit. Hat uns sogar Ihre handynr. gegeben, falls wir am Abend von unterwegs eine Frage haben. Zu Fuss sind es 20 Min. nach Ortigia u die Strecke kann man getrost gehen, denn es hat überall einen Gehsteig. VORSICHT: überall „Tre**inen“ (Italiener gehen nur vors Haus mit Ihrem Hund). Wer eine Katzenallergie hat muss wissen, dass im Foyer die Hauskatzen leben.

Wonderful place where you will wake up everyday to a glorious sunrise over the sea lapping below you, and a gorgeous breakfast on the terrace. Team at Giuggiulena are friendly, calm and very happy to help you have a wonderful visit to Sicily. Property is simple but has all you need and nice extras like beautifully fragranced rooms and toiletries. While it is a ~20 mins walk to main tourist spot, I recommend staying here because you get the location right on the sea and is less congested. There are many taxi companies that use WhatsApp if you need lifts but the walk is easy and safe from our experience doing it many times day and night. Enjoy.

Thank you Sabrina and Claudia for a wonderful stay. You organised everything brilliantly but sadly you could not organise the storm and crashing waves! The hotel was lovely, the breakfasts amazing and the view from our balcony was stunning. Highly recommended.

L’accueil de Sabrina et Claudia dans leur pension raffinée et avec une vue mer imprenable est chaleureux et adorable. Les chambres sont superbement décorées. Ortigia est a 5 mn en voiture (ou 25 à pied). Les petits déjeuners sont délicieux. Après 5 jours de paradis, nous n’avons qu’une envie: revenir !
