AHA西蒙鎮河岸飯店(Simon's Town Quayside Hotel)

Hotel is centrally located with shops and shopping. It faces directly to the sea which is highly recommended to stay by the sea than mountain view. Just mins from boulder beach for penguins!!! Room was clean and good shower pressure. Thanks for the friendly service too!

The staff were so accommodating and suggested great venues to visit for lunch and dinner. The breakfasts were amazing with a variety of choices. We had a sea facing room that was awesome with views over the harbor and the room was clean and air conditioned and ready on time. I would recommend this hotel 100%!

Prima hotel, gelegen aan een dorpjes pleintje met uitzicht op de haven. Nette receptie met vriendelijk personeel, kregen zelfs nog een welkomstdrankje. netjes een briefje met de tijden van load shedding en een waarschuwing dat je de schuifdeuren dicht moest laten ivm apen. Kamer zag er keurig netjes uit, met airco en mooie badkamer, het ontbijt was bij Restaurant Bertha’s dat zat onder het hotel.

Once again, the management and staff were just so friendly and helpful. That is just one of the reasons we go back from time to time. One can't go wrong with booking your stay at Simon Town Quayside Hotel. We will be back again this year.

This hotel is right in the heart of Simons Town where you can enjoy the hussle and bussle of the quayside. It has reserved parking for guests which was handy. The staff were very friendly and the room we had was lovely. It was very spacious, very clean and the bed was massive and very comfortable. We had a tv with limited English channels, a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Our room was overlooking the Quay which was lovely. We were warned about the baboons being able to open the doors but we didn't have the pleasure of them during our stay. The hotel is in a great location and it's right next to the tourist office which is run by a great guy. Very very helpful. It's also next to Frans restaurant which was lovely. The only thing that would have made our stay perfect was if we had been told about the load shedding. As new arrivals we didn't know about the power outages so we were happily watching TV and all the electric went off except some table lamps. We had no idea what was going on so decided to go to bed, only to be woken up 2 hours later by the TV coming back on...not good when you've been travelling for 22hrs. .. other than that, I'd say this is a great place to stay.

Absolutely stunning view of the harbor! The staff is incredible from reception to housekeeping. Our room was ready early and they were so kind and helpful. The hotel is located just above what Sauvers, which became our favorite restaurant from the first night. Definitely recommend the boat company whale tour if you have a chance. Just across the street at cafe Pescado we had one of the best burgers (house made patties). We will definitely recommend to anyone and look forward to coming back.
