The reception Staff were particularly good. The room was OK. We decided to eat in the `Restaurant`. The Waitress was not really interested. We waited and waited for just the menu to arrive. We ordered our food which came relatively quickly, the soup that was listed did not resemble any soup we have ever experienced. The ice cream which I could not eat was disgusting. The Waitress had disappeared we could not discus this issue at all. Having travelled nearly 600 kilometers that day in the heat, we could not wait because we were so tired. In the morning when we went to settle the bill, we found it had already been taken and the Receptionist did not want to understand and offered us two beers, small compensation.

見た目でだいぶ損をしているホテルだと思います。 あまりに賑やかすぎる外観ゆえに、変なホテルだと思われそうですが 内装は非常に清潔で、とても快適なホテルです。 共用スペースも広く、自動販売機もあって便利です。 他の宿泊者の方々の民度も高く、常識のあるしっかりした方が多いので 迷惑な滞在客によって不快な思いをすることもないでしょう。 フィレンツェ中心部のホテルは、とんでもなく高額だったり 価格に見合った設備とはいいがたいものが多いので 個人的には、移動時間を多少掛けたとしても このホテルを起点にした方がいいように感じました。

Thank you :) Our experience at the hotel was great. In many ways this hotel was ideal for us, it wasn't right in the city center where all the noise is, but it was close enough to it (about half an hour's walk to the train station with a suitcase and bags). The hotel staff was excellent, very kind and respectful with lots of good and efficient advice. The room was spacious enough and clean and we didn't lack anything. One weak point was for us and it was the bed which was a double bed but, it was connected by two mattresses, and an air conditioner that worked but made a lot of noise. In conclusion, if you don't mind walking to the city center (I strongly recommend everyone to walk and not use public transport, there is a lot to see on the way :) ) And you are looking for the hotel staff to be nice, polite, experienced, know the surroundings and know how to give you tips, this is the hotel check for you. I arrived with my septuagenarian parents on April 27 for a week-long stay. The hotel provided us with the right room classification on arrival, but I was concerned that the suite was single bathroom instead of two and the closet space was not optimal for our needs. Annamaria, Victoria and Samuele stand out as front office staff who listened and acted swiftly to help address our request for help and resolved the issue the next day. That was the first wow moment of our stay. I also recommend the breakfast (came with our reservation package) and you should take advantage of the Rooftop Bar, the view of the Duomo and across the city 360 degress is suberb. After 10+ visits to Florence, this hotel has become my new preferred location and I anticipate returning here in the years to come.

This hotel was booked by a company I am working for, so I am sure it was booked purely on price as we were quite a large party. I understand that any business coming out of lockdown has a hard job on its hands, but on entering my room, I did feel it was necessary to wipe everything down with disinfectant wipes as everything was quite dusty. Some of my colleagues were unhappy with the cleanliness of their rooms. Following my initial clean down, my room was tidied daily. Wifi is poor, except in reception which has nowhere to sit and work, so if you are here on business, you don’t have any privacy to get work done. Continental breakfast is okay, but I cannot think of anything good to say about the cooked food, except that I have lost weight because I have not eaten very much. We are not allowed out of our bubble, so we have not been allowed to eat elsewhere, but if you can, I would. I have been served undercooked pasta five nights in a row, which tastes of salt, then meat and fried potatoes, which again tastes like it has been preserved in salt. Day 5 and the vegetarians in our group are stiil being served meat which could be considered quite funny, but they were not impressed. Although the staff are very apologetic, it is then replaced somewhat later with a greasy omelette which looks extremely unappetising and lonely on its plate but the soup is okay. They didn't have any sauces or gravy to serve with the food at the beginning of the week so the food tasted very over cooked, salty and dry, but we did get gravy this evening, so it has improved a little. I have been craving some vegetables with my dinner but greasy Salty eggplant is the only option. Oddly, mixed veg is served at breakfast. They dont really understand dietary requirements, so if you are ceoliac, best not chance it. I maybe doing the catering staff a dis-service, because they may have been drafted in from a different occupation, like myself and just doing their best in difficult circumstances. Catering is clearly not their forte. Everyone seems friendly enough.

Partiamo dalle cose positive, è situata in posizione fantastica con una vista stupenda su Firenze ed è dotata di parcheggio interno. Camere grandi anche se arredate in modo particolare (poi sia chiaro può piacere o non piacere) con TV di dimensioni ridicole. Essendo i muri davvero vecchi camminando si sente l'effetto tremante sotto e intorno si sentono le voci dalle altre camere, ma anche questo ci sta perché prenotando questo tipo di struttura sono cose che ci possono stare...ah camera anche un po' freddina. Veniamo a quello che non va, a cena veniamo accolti da cameriere che non parlano una parola di Italiano che alle nostre richieste ci dicono di aspettare il cuoco, il cibo purtroppo (almeno quello provato da noi) assolutamente sotto al livello medio della zona, che propone tantissimi agriturismi o trattorie di livello superiore. Colazione la mattina seguente scendiamo a 15 minuti dalla chiusura e troviamo un ragazzo, questo almeno parlava Italiano, che ci dice che era tutto finito e ci invita a prendere massimo un caffè dalla macchinetta per poi scoprire che invece nella saletta della colazione erano ancora presenti torte e affettati, probabilmente non aveva semplicemente voglia di sparecchiare un altro tavolo o chissà cos'altro. Cifra spesa media per la camera e alta per il ristorante, visto ripeto la qualità non proprio altissima. La zona concede tante alternative quindi difficilmente torneremo ed è un peccato perché ripeto le potenzialità sono davvero alte.
