厄爾滑雪Spa飯店

Mijn recente ski-uitje transformeerde al snel in de slechtste ski-ervaring die ik ooit heb gehad, vol teleurstellingen en service die ver beneden peil was voor wat je zou verwachten van een gerenommeerd hotel. Op dag 1 werden we geconfronteerd met slecht weer waardoor alle pistes en liften gesloten waren; een situatie buiten de controle van het hotel. Echter, toen het weer opklaarde en gasten naar het terras trokken om van de zon te genieten, liet de service veel te wensen over. Het personeel weigerde de tafels schoon te maken of kussens te plaatsen en toonde irritatie toen gasten dit zelf begonnen te doen. Het was zelfs nodig om eigen drankjes te halen omdat het personeel weigerde service te verlenen op het terras, en dan kregen we ongevraagd de rekening gepresenteerd. Voor een hotel van dit kaliber is zo’n gebrek aan gastvrijheid onaanvaardbaar. Het diner bood geen verbetering; maaltijden werden niet gesynchroniseerd geserveerd binnen het gezelschap, met verschillen tot wel 30 minuten. Dit dwong iedereen om alleen te eten of te wachten en hun eten koud te laten worden, wat een gedeelde maaltijd tot een frustrerende ervaring maakte. Onze suite, bedoeld voor vier volwassenen, was voorzien van een zetelbed dat eerder geschikt zou zijn voor een scoutskamp dan voor een hotel van deze standaard. Het bed zakte door tot op de grond, waardoor we genoodzaakt waren om kussens onder het matras te leggen om enige vorm van comfort te vinden. Op dag 2, een zonnige dag perfect voor skiën, stonden we in de rij voor uitrusting om vervolgens te horen te krijgen dat alle skipassen om 09.30 uur al uitverkocht waren. Dit is onaanvaardbaar voor een skihotel dat hoge tarieven hanteert. Het hotel had moeten zorgen voor voldoende skipassen voor alle gasten, zonder uitzondering. Na twee nachten, van de vier die we geboekt hadden, besloten we het hotel te verlaten, zonder enige vorm van compensatie te ontvangen, maar wel met een aanzienlijke rekening van €1000. Mijn advies: vermijd dit hotel. Hun gebrek aan service en voorbereiding heeft onze vakantie geruïneerd, en ze zullen ons zeker nooit meer zien.

Una maravilla. Estuve en la sierra hace unos meses, y fue un placer poder visitar El Lodge. Me parece uno de los sitios con más encanto en los que he estado. Visita obligatoria en Sierra Nevada, al menos, para comer, su gastronomía también es excelente.

A truly FANTASTIC AND FIRST CLASS experience. Just amazing attentive service in stunningly beautiful surroundings. Every single detail has been thought of. Dinner was just out of this world with beautifully presented and a inspiring menu full of choice for every palate. Do NOT come here and not stay/eat here, preferably BOTH.

A wonderful gem! We travelled with our 4 year old. As a couple and family the service was excellent. Everyone was truly warm heartedly friendly. We travel a lot for skiing and the service and atmosphere really was unique. The food fantastic and the suit with jacuzzi and slope view a real bonus Despite the snow conditions not being the best we will sure be coming back!!

We had an unforgettable experience at El Lodge. The rooms are lovely -- spacious, clean, and charming -- and the in-room jacuzzis are perfect for apres-ski. We also really enjoyed the restaurant, great food and relaxed vibes with nice views. However, what really stands out about the Lodge is the service. The staff really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and take care of whatever we needed. We had initially planned to stay only for a few days, but had such a wonderful time that we came back only weeks later.

An outstanding hotel that really is stunning inside with lovely rooms, a great restaurant and we had a lovely time on the terrace for lunch. In the ski room the staff are so helpful and knowledgeable. All the staff were really friendly all the time. A faultless stay!

An amazing hotel, with very friendly and professional staff. Rafa went above and beyond any and all expectation to help me. Marina was very efficient and took each request in her stride. A very professional, friendly and team. We will be back to stay. Thank you very much.

Ignorant, arrogant and stuck up, obviously a property with absolutely no interest in any other than its guests. Tried to book for dinner as i am staying in the Lux Village Chalets, speaking to reception a disaster and the restaurant even worse. Just no interest at all. Not a single bit of respect of politeness in any of them. Whereas i understand that Hotels have guests, restaurants in such small locations always allow for bookings. In fact all properties around the globe except bookings. These must feel special and believe themselves to be above the rest. Properties with such poor customer services deserve nothing.

From the minute we arrived this place was first class. Nothing could have been made easier, more comfortable, more delicious or better and no one could have been more friendly. We all just loved it! We were travelling with two nearly grown up children and we all had a fantastic time.
