馬西尼古蒂叢林小屋(Jungle Hut)

I learned about this place more than 5 years ago from a family friend. Ever since, we've been wanting to visit but only now made it. They take bookings from month to month as there is a closure order from the court even though some of the reports here are continuing to make a concerted appeal to overturn the order. This is a 20-acre property with a main dining area (room service not allowed), a lounge and a small swimming pool. We stayed in the premium cottage that can accommodate 3. The rooms are decently big with comfortable bathrooms and AC. But the most attractive feature of this place is the environment. Absolutely in the middle of a forested estate where a group of 30-40 chital deer roam about freely. Elephant sightings too are supposed to be most common though we did not come across any. Reasonably priced with all meals included, 5 and a half hours from Bangalore this is one place that we plan to visit again, this time after the rains. Another great feature is their staff who are attentive and at the same time remain discreet.

Nestled among the verdant expanse of the jungle, jungle hut resort is a tranquil haven.my recent stay here left me rejuvenated and enthralled. The room was impeccably clean and thoughtfully appointed.waking up to melodious chirping of birds,deers and peacock Each meal was gastronomic delight,bursting with flavours.The Resort is Highly Recomended!

This was my 3rd visit to the property and the experience just keeps getting better and better with each stay. The best thing about the property is you get a real feeling of staying inside a jungle. The rooms are big and clean and very well maintained and the food is awesome

Very calm n beautiful stay..close to wild animals. Could spot wild tusker, wild boar and lots of deer in the resort. Very courteous ***agement. Food was very tasty.

My niece and family from New York and my husband and me had the most enjoyable and unforgettable stay at Jungle Hut. This family run property is located at the foothills of the Nilgiris with a mesmerizing view of the "Blue Mountains" in Bokkapuram, Masanagudi in the midst of shola grasslands, bamboo and deciduous forests. It is beautifully maintained. The rooms are large and well appointed with all facilities. The ever present staff are dedicated, attentive and very helpful and we thank Mr. Aniket and his team for this. The food was very tasty with an amazing spread of dishes for all meals. What is so special about Jungle Hut is to have spotted deer just outside your room and langur and malabar squirrels in the trees around. Peacocks and mongoose are easily sighted. The birding and nature walk with Mr Rajesh, an informative naturalist was extremely educative and interesting. He is a wildlife guide and photogher from a local Irula tribe. Altogether a memorable stay and not to be missed.

We had the best experience at Jungle Hut and would love to go back again. The whole stay from the food to the stay to the housekeeping staff were excellent and with a toddler there was ample space to run round. A special mention about the food which was so good and delicious. Highly recommend visiting jungle hut .

A wonderful oasis away from the chaos of the city! Everyone was so welcoming and warm, we had an excellent time. Food was great, had that home-made feel and there were always ***y options available. Staff made sure we could go back to Bangalore on time and arranged all our pick-ups and drop-offs timely. We really enjoyed the safari adventures too!

I visited Jungle Hut , with my family , 4 of us and reserved 2 premium rooms during 15 - 17th March 24 . The location of this resort is 5/5 , Food could be 6/5 , not joking , The resort staff right from their ***agers to reception to Kitchen to Housekeeping to Masseur are dedicated , well trained and always happy to Help . You might get a feel of this being expensive while booking but by the time you check out each penny is worth . Choose before end of Feb for best climate and August monsoon for nature at its best . Safari wise you need to be lucky but try to book last safari in the evening . The resort will be hard not to repeat in the next few years .

The resort truly lives up to its name. Its location is ideal for an authentic experience of residing within the jungle. The Nilgiri hills are visible from the resort. The accommodations are generously sized and come equipped with all essential amenities, including dental kits, shower towels, toiletries, and a hairdryer. The meals provided for breakfast, lunch, and dinner are delectable! The resort features indoor activities such as table tennis, badminton, and a carom board. It also boasts a small library; reading in such a setting is an incredible experience. Additionally, the reception area includes a small resource center where guests can purchase souvenirs. The resort's swimming pool offers a stunning view of the Nilgiri hills. Taking a swim there, with that view, is an extraordinary experience. Spotted deer are frequent visitors to the resort, and they can be seen throughout the day. Langurs also make their home in the resort's trees. In the morning, a diverse array of birds can be observed, which is a delight for nature lovers. In summary, the stay was unforgettable. I have chosen to stay at this resort twice because of the excellent experiences I've had.
