I recently stayed at Ibis OMR and unfortunately had a disappointing experience, particularly with the service from the receptionist, Mr. Ram. I felt misled about the pricing, which resulted in me paying significantly more than I had anticipated.
When I checked in, I was not clearly informed about the charges and fees of room retention, all other receptionist did not indicate any charges for room retention except Mr.Ram. Mr. Ram’s explanations were vague and left me feeling uncertain about the total cost. When I inquired further, I received inconsistent answers, which only added to my frustration.
I believe transparency in pricing is crucial for any hotel experience, and this situation made my stay far less enjoyable, because of the repeated torture of the receptionist especially Mr. Ram. I hope the management addresses this issue, as it could improve the experience for future guests.
Overall, I cannot recommend Ibis OMR based on my experience.

Love to stay here the staffs all very friendly food was so good it's very safe place
The all you can eat buffet was delicious. However, the price was very high by Indian standards.

I stayed at the ibis Chennai OMR for the past couple of days (From 25th Feb to 27th Feb) and the stay was so pleasant and comfortable. Mr. Ponirul, room-keeping staff, made our stay so enjoyable and relaxing. From the moment we arrived until departure, he exceeds expectations. Exceptional room service with a commitment. He was really kind, courteous and willing to attend any request. The rooms were spotless and the facilities were well maintained. He was quick at his service so professional and such a trustworthy person. An efficient staff who excels at personal attention is a must-have for a luxury hotel like ibis. I’m a Accor member for past 3 years. I used to stay in many ibis but this ibis OMR is one of best. Housekeeping person Sindhuja was so helpful and good host. Reception persons hospitality was good. Looking forward to stay once gain. Thank you..

Please change the room service menu with more choices of south Indian food.and more clean and hygienic required and staff need more training and the buffet morning 7.30 still not ready for service and the restaurant phone will never pickup on first call. Worst hotel and worst management. Don’t know how they are making business. Don’t recommend this to anyone. From parking to chickening in to the hotel due to lot of cost cutting there is very worst management. They don’t even give plates……..

Excellent property and very convenient. Front desk staff mostly Kiran is extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. Property is clean and well maintained.Staff was very hospitable and there for every need of mine. My sister had an amazing surprise birthday from the hotel staff and management.Much appreciate gesture. Very cramped rooms. No space in lobby to even sit and wait incase of early arrival. Really need to space up lobby. Food is good. Very cramped space in tye room. Ideally price it at 2k per day. Anything more than for this kind a facility. Not worth.
