This is Good Heritage Hotel on Mall Road. Excellent Staff and Hospitality

Great hotel, great location and courteous staff and its the hotel is a heritage building. You can feel the history. Room comfort and food outlets are excellent. Breakfast is good with mix of indian and western choices. Restaurant too offers the mix at great taste. Ver helpful staff and front desk. The hotel is located right next to the famous mall road of Shimla, walking distance, ***y shopping and food outlets available ***** the road including branded shopping. The only down side is there is no vehicle access to the entrance of the hotel due local restriction, no vehicle road. One have to climb up 250m stairs, the hotel provides help to pick you luggage. Physically challenged and the elderly will find it challenging. There is option to use public electric lift 500m away and walk to the hotel. I will certainly choose this hotel in the future if I am visiting Shimla.

A l'exception des salles de bains, il a été conservé à peu près dans son état de l'ère britannique, avec ses façades à colombages dans le goût britannique néo-Tudor. Le charme colonial du Clarkes et sa situation idéale sur le Mall sont ses atouts majeurs. Les chambres ont toutes une vue partielle sur la vallée (le reste est masqué par la masse indécente de la « High Court of Himachal Pradesh ») et un vaste parking, ou une vue sur le Mall. Le personnel est exceptionnellement aimable (entre autres Hi***shu et Abishek de la housekeeping, et les serveurs du restaurant).

Il centro di Shimla merita una visita per la sua struttura British, per la sua collocazione in cima ad un colle, per il suo bazar, che merita una visita. Vi sono inoltre numerosi ristoranti degni di esser visitati. La sistemazione nell'hotel Clarkes è stata eccellente. L'hotel è ben posizionato, sul mall, quindi si esce dall'hotel e si è su una strada chiusa al traffico, in centro. L'hotel è "heritage", quindi d'epoca. Camera Ok, elegante, ben arredata. La struttura è un po piccola e ***ca di spa e di giardino degno di questo nome, ma la posizione e l'atmosfera co****sano le ***canze. Personale gentilissimo, Il ragazzo alla reception mi ha aiutato a fare il check in on line per il volo di rientro in Italia, la colazione è stata eccellente e servita con squisita cortesia dal personale di sala. La Quinta stella va ascritta alla cortesia delle persone che lavorano nell'hotel. Grazie per l'ospitalità.

So welcoming. We stayed for 4 nights amidst early monsoon. Everyone was really friendly and helpful particularly Subhash, Rajinder, Dani and Meha in the restaurant. The food was excellent and,location is right amongst the bustle of the Mall. A lovely hotel.

Excellent all round from arriving , staying , dining to departure. Very polite & pleasant all staff members at ALL times.Very personal too. The suite was perfect as was the minibar. Breakfast was perfect both in Indian cuisine and also continental foods.

Great view ,friendly staff and excellent service.The view of the mountain was also great.Buffet was also great.If you are a bird watcher then you can find ***y exotic bird species in the morning.all the inns are also very beautiful.Overall a good place to stay.

This historic hotel is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Shimla. The rooms are very comfortable, the staff very friendly and courteous, the food is excellent. Situated on the Mall, it is close to all the attractions of Shimla, but an oasis of calm and relaxation, It was lovely to watch the sun set, sipping drinks on the terrace.

Beautiful property,long time dream to stay in this .on our anniversary our kids gave us a surprise of oberoi Clarks.enjoyed the hotel. All staff members and ***ager Samir Kaul were very nice and helpful in everyway.The dinning room staff Dhani Ram ,Puran,Mehar etc were so good in serving us and made us to taste every item of the menu.really enjoyed the place. Thanks the team Clarks.
