Arrived here late afternoon to a buoys front desk. No help with luggage, just a unfriendly hint to use the elevator with no definite directions. Room seemed clean but had the certain”used by date” smell. Carpet a grub, fridge empty but on. Toiletry bottles in vanity had no pump to be used so we had to use gel from the bath dispenser. It gets better from here… Love to have dinner we thought, so we entered the “restaurant”. No English speaking personal we found out… no dinner but a cold buffet for a fix price of €27. Mind you the buffet was stripped by the people who been attending the function that took place next to the restaurant. So… no dinner than. Room service? Non to have. Check out time in the morning after breakfast again… buffet. Was ok and as one could expect. As hotel was pre booked on a named website, room was paid for. We left the room swipe card in the front desk and walked out again with 4 suitcases on our own with no help available. 2 hours later I got an email notifying me that hotel was unable to charge my credit card. I than clarified with website I booked that all details were correct. Next day I found my card was charged twice for the same room from the same vendor.( Hotel Schwerin Seven Lakes) once also additional €6 as penalty for a “failed” payment. 2 weeks later now, still no refund from this joint. My advise… stay away from this joint, it’s outdated, run against the wall and has non, whatsoever hotel character and flair.
