Pleasant stay for this hotel and they upgraded the room to suite due to some problem.Somehow had great experience and convenient stay.My kids love the swimming pool and even enjoy the bath tub in the room. Large room with all the best amenities.Satisfied customer.

Went with family for a 3 days, 2 night stay. It was a spacious room indeed. But they dont offer or entertain any request for additional bed AT ALL. It is stated on their website. Got wrong info from trip.com. Not sure whether the hotel was refurbished or it is their original design, but i didnt get why in their shower room there’s no shampoo/ shower gel holder/rack. They dont provide bin in the toilet like normally kost hotels do. On the last day, during dawn time there was power trip due to their faulty water heater.

I am so suprised with the major refurbishment. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Personally i would like to give a special thank to Chef Mazi for the glorious food!! I would give a standing ovation for the excellence food galore both local and western food!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏

A relatively new hotel overlooking the Perak River, so the view at the balcony outside the room was lovely. (Another side of the hotel faces a small cemetery though…) Room was spacious and clean but I was surprised stuffs like hairdryer and tissue box were not provided - had to request the former from the reception counter. No safety box too. And also terribly disappointing that the swimming pool was not open for use - apparently they were still waiting for approval from the municipal council? A simple buffet breakfast of local fare was provided with the room package. Can easily walk to the park (Dataran Lembah Sungai Perak) by the river from the hotel - plenty of eateries, stalls and activities like river cruise are available there.

MY 2ND VISIT C/In: 13 April 2022 for 2 night. My 1st visit was 17 August 2020 for 2 nights. Located in the heart of Kuala Kangsar and within walking distance to all tourist attractions and local gestonomy sites. From the moment I first walked into this hotel, I was instantly being recognized by its employees and was warmly welcome with open arms making me feel right at home away from home. In fact, most of the staff from various departments are really friendly and hospitable. On my previous stay, they had even arranged a private tour in Kuala Kangsar to personalised my requirements. The Deluxe Suite is really comfortable with a magnificent view of the Perak River. Currently, Matahari Coffee House only serve buffet breakfast and dinner due to Ramadan season. Wondering if I am really hungry or longing for local cuisine, but somehow the food are extremely mouth-watering delicious. It was so delicious until my desert moment that my pants split at the buffet desert counter. Fortunately, one of the staff saw that horrible embarrassing moment and quickly stood behind me to covered my ass and quietly with discreet escorting me from the back to my suite for a quick changed. Currently the hotel's facilities available are limited. Only accommodation, meeting rooms, function rooms and car parking are available. Matahari Coffee House only available for buffet breakfast and buffet dinner. Has been my pleasure staying with Casuarina Kuala Kangsar. Thank you!

Our fourth time here, and probably the last. We have written on guest feedback card for them to make improvement, sadly to say those suggestions or feedback have fallen on deaf ears. Not recommended as it doesn't bring value with the money paid. Pros: - quiet destination with cooling air, we didn't have to turn on the air conditioner yet was able to have a good night sleep - Big space. Our room has a couch. Cons: - No handsoap was provided. they only provided a small small tube of body soap. Of course, we have to ask for more by walking to the reception desk - No extra towel was given, although we have asked one for our baby son. Reason given 'because it's COVID and we need extra sanitisation' - Gym and swimming pool remained closed - No tissue or napkins provided. - No table and chair at the balcony area - Perhaps it's in a smaller town, the service of the hotel staffs is not that something you can expect from what you can get from bigger town/city.

I had a bad experience of one night stay at this hotel. The Operation Manager whom which I may conclude as not competent to lead the hotel team. He was just passing the burden of hospitality matters to his staff dealing with guests. He did not want to face the guest. I have checked out on the night I stay due to poor “service”. His staffs like Mr Badrul and Mr Khairul Anuar were very helpful but not their boss, the Operation Manager. I have called the front office twice leaving messages for Operation Manager to return my call but he just ignore the messages. He was in the office at that night after I have checked out. The upper management should take this matter seriously to ensure good branding of the hotel. The staffs working hard to establish branding of the hotel but the Operation Manager looks like do not concern on hotel branding.

I had a pleasant stay at Casuarina Kuala Kangsar, especially enjoying the breathtaking view of Sungai Perak from the room lobby. Watching the sunrise and sunset was truly an unforgettable experience. However, I did notice stains on the ceiling of my room and pillow, which could be improved for better cleanliness. With some attention to housekeeping, this hotel could offer an even more exceptional stay!
