My friend recommended the brand-new rooftop bar Lavender and insisted that I check it out. I went, and I was blown away by the ambiance, as well as the caliber of the food and service. I'd really suggest the wings or smash burger! I was welcomed to the hotel right away, and before I could even get out of my car, I could see their smiles. Both Bubbles and Elavian are quite charming and delivered excellent service; they even shared some amusing jokes and suggested other restaurants which we loved as well. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I will now reserve a room with you all for my wedding weekend.

New hotel. Clean rooms. The front desk staff is friendly, but still learning the computer system so checkin and checkout was arduous as the desk clerks helped each other figure things out. The river rooms with balcony are worth the extra fee if you want to watch the cargo boats occasionally go past. I would NOT recommend it if you have kids ( I was not traveling with children). Balcony is small and the safety railings are glass. Nicely appointed bathroom with comfy bed. Large smart tv. In room safe and fridge. Safe is not large enough for a laptop. iPad will fit. Linens were sufficient. The only issue we had was with the valet parking. We were charged $52 for one night’s stay. The valet line was extremely long at checkin and people were complaining about a 30 minute wait at checkout. You can request your car via text and pay using your smartphone. We waited approximately 15-20 minutes for our car at checkout. The hotel should consider hiring more valet staff. When we checked in, there was only one young man running to park and pickup cars. At checkout, there were two guys parking/retrieving cars. The valet guys are young and slow and a bit clueless. It was raining when we checked out. The valet left his wet butt prints and head prints on the driver’s seat, which grossed us out. They should at least have a towel handy on days it rains. Bless their hearts! So don’t be in a hurry to checkin/checkout if you valet park. I recommend this hotel while it’s new and clean.

Rooms were clean and spacious, the rooftop bar area was lovely, it’s located in a very walkable area, and the staff was incredibly accommodating and hospitable. They had no issue with our late check out and they were so helpful with our million pieces of luggage. Thank you Cedric & team!
