德斯特拉度假村(Desiterra Resort)

Met een mooie vakantie in het vooruitzicht Desiterra geboekt via Eliza was here. Maar wat een deceptie is dit zeg. Vijf sterren is het absoluut niet waard. De service is zelfs -1 ster als je het mij vraagt. De lijst aan gebreken aan het huisje is eindeloos. We hadden een drie kamer villa geboekt en kregen een twee kamer villa aangeboden. Uiteindelijk toch een drie kamer villa gekregen. Dan de gebreken: Één deur van de slaapkamer klemt zo erg dat ie niet dicht kan; Niet genoeg bestek aanwezig; Schone handdoeken met vlekken; Handdoeken stinken naar rook; Kapotte afzuigkap; Kapotte hor bij de slaapkamer; Een lamp die met tape aan elkaar hangt; Geen kussenslopen om de kussens op de bank; Parasol kapot. Niet vijf sterren waardig. Ik zou hier hard van weglopen! Het restaurant is ook een aanfluiting. Voor Grieks Pasen kregen we een menu aangeboden. Helaas zijn we er op ingegaan. Het stukje lam was amper 50gram. Daarnaast was er voor twee ingedekt terwijl we met drie personen zijn. In het hele restaurant waren de andere tafels niet opgedekt. Heel ongezellig. Achter de bar staat een man met kapotte jeans en een trainingsjasje. Gewoon geen vijf sterren waardig. Op de vraag of ik een fles wijn mag van Santorini krijg ik een fles die ergens anders uit Griekenland komt. Daarnaast komt er een man binnen die volle borden krijgt. Achteraf bleek dit de manager te zijn.... Jammer, deze ervaring heeft onze vakantie best wel verpest. Zo ken ik de Grieken niet. Ondanks contact met de receptie en Eliza was Here is gedurende de week geen actie ondernomen door Desiterra. Wins**aximalisatie heeft hier voorrang. Nu dat ik de minste reviews van andere mensen lees herken ik er helaas nogal veel in terug.

Hotel très beau, chambre superbe avec literie très confortable coup de cœur pour la piscine privée avec la vue sur la mer. En général le personnel est vraiment adorable ( surtout Michaïl à l accueil) Le service WhatsApp 24h/24 c est vraiment top aussi, surtout pour les gens qui ne parlent pas bien les langues, service très réactif 👍 Point négatif: -le petit déjeuner à la carte ( pas assez de choix) 6 ou 7 choix sucré ce qui devient vite très répétitif et aussi pas de choses simple comme des pains au chocolat ou croissant.( personnel du petit déjeuner adorable ) -La montée pour rejoindre les chambres est exténuante 🥵( il y a des voiturettes de golf qui peuvent nous déposer mais sur 7 jours sur place avec 2 ou 3 montées par jour nous en avons eu que 2 fois! Plus l arrivée et le départ ) -Un jour lors du nettoyage de la chambre mon compagnon et moi étions dans la piscine pour laisser la femme de ménage faire, sauf qu´en partant celle ci a fermé la baie vitrée et nous a enfermé dehors ( heureusement que j avais mon téléphone j ai donc envoyé un message via a WhatsApp à l acceuil) entre temps nous avons croisé un homme d entretien de l hotel et il est venu nous libéré 😄, plusieurs minutes après la femme de ménage arrive et je vois qu elle est confuse car la porte est ouverte ( on lui a expliqué qu un homme est passé et qu il a ouvert mais elle ne comprenait pas...). En attendant même pas de réponse de l accueil à mon message pour me dire "ne vous inquiétez pas on arrive", rien. Ils ont lu le message et pas de réponse, ils ont juste prévenu la femme de ménage qui est revenue et c´est tout, même pas un " je suis désolé " ni de l accueil, ni de la femme de ménage. -Dernière chose le dernier jour nous avions loué notre quad jusqu´à 15h donc nous devions manger à l hôtel ce soir là car pas de moyen de transport, Nous voulions nous faire plaisir avec un service en chambre que propose l hotel, nous avons demandé la jour d avant si c était possible de nous faire 2 menu burger le lendemain soir dans notre chambre ( nous savions que le burger est prévu normalement de 12h à 16h) d´ou notre demande spéciale ( l hotel précise bien de ne pas hésiter si nous avons la moindre demande...) Réponse de la reception: Non OK on a loué le quad un jour de plus et nous avons été au restaurant en ville et pas à celui de l hotel, ça nous a coûté plus cher mais pas envie d aller au resto de l hotel après un refus à notre seule demande du séjour.

Avrei dato 5 stelle se non fosse successo un piccolo episodio di furto! Siamo stati una settimana in questo resort molto bello, tutto fantastico fino a quando una sera di ritorno ci siamo accorti che in camera era sparito un sacchetto con dei gioielli che era stato appoggiato la mattina su un tavolino all’interno della villetta. Colpa nostra per carità, mai fidarsi soprattutto all’estero… tuttavia la cosa che non è piaciuta per niente è stata la risposta da parte della receptionist quando le abbiamo riferito il fatto, totalmente inadeguata. Secondo lei era impossibile che qualcuno del personale avesse rubato qualcosa…e aggiungeva di cercare meglio con un tono stizzito prendendoci per scemi. Alla fine abbiamo lasciato correre anche perché si trattava di bigiotteria e soprattutto per non rovinarci la vacanza! In ogni caso fatevi un bel esame di coscienza che anche da altre recensioni ho visto che qualcuno ha le mani un po’ troppo lunghe! Nel complesso consiglio questo hotel perchè si trova nella pace più totale ed è provvisto di tutti i comfort possibili, ma attenti a non lasciare cose in camera!!!

Stayed here from 11th July - 15th July 2023 and everything was perfect. Staff are super helpful. Rooms are clean and absolutely stunning. Having a private pool was fabulous. We hired a car which we parked in the car park on site. Hotel is located just outside Fira which is lovely as you’re away from the busy tourist areas. Cannot fault anything as everything was perfect from start to finish.

went to Greece to celebrate my husband's birthday. He died on July 20, 2022, from a bad car accident. We were planning his 60th birthday in Greece. I decided to continue with the birthday plans and took my girlfriend went with me. I got a little nervous because of some reviews I read, but those reviews are all lies. I have traveled worldwide and stayed at the world's only seven-star hotel in Dubai. Trust me. The Desiterra is an excellent hotel with a perfect location, located away from the crowd, immaculate & beautiful. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly receptionist Dora, and she made our trip more enjoyable with her advice & tips about Santorini and transportation. Everyone at the hotel was pleasant. The breakfast was terrific. I had a Greek omelet “OMG” delicious!! The prices for food and drinks are reasonable. I recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true example of excellent hospitality. Two drivers for the shuttle were outstanding as well. They both were helpful and made sure we got to our destination. I even gave one of the drivers a big hug when he dropped me off at the Port to take the ferry to Mykonos. We were able to meet the owner Dimitri. He was so friendly, and he was celebrating his wife’s birthday. Dimitri made sure we were enjoying our stay. Thank you again, Desiterra, for making my first trip to Greece extra a memorable one. I can’t wait to return with my Circle ⭕️ of Trust girlfriends.

Excellent accommodations at this quite and welcoming hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The spa and other amenities were superb. Beautiful pool with swim up bar. Our unit had its own pool! We had an opportunity to meet the owner, who is a great host himself and very approachable. If you want to be away from crowds, this is the hotel. Fira is only 10 minutes away.

Desiterra is like a private paradise in busy Santorini. You definitely need a car to move around the island as it’s remote from anything else but also that’s what makes it so special. Once you are in the hotel areas you feel a sense of calm, serenity and relaxation that is the best way to start and finish a busy tourism day. The villas are unreal, all the small details make the stay very comfortable and you feel like you have your own home in Santorini and what a home! The staff make the stay even better with their professionalism in making every guest feel special. Everyone is extremely helpful, friendly and the best in what their do what makes a difference. Une belle expérience avec de belles prestations. Petit bémol au niveau du restaurant avec un rapport qualité/prix non adapté selon nous. Non seulement les plats sont hors de prix mais l’équipe n’est pas au niveau d’un 5 étoiles, malgré toute la gentillesse des serveurs. Une bonne localisation proche de Fira et de très bonnes recommandations de la part du personnel pour découvrir l’île. En bref, un séjour globalement très réussi mais avec un service un petit peu en dessous des exigences 5 étoiles.

We had the best time at Desiterra and the only bad thing about the experience was the fact that we had to leave. We wouldn't be doing any justice to the experience if we didn't mention Georgio... he made our experience second to none, recommended trips that suited us perfectly not just the places suggested by all the staff. Not forgetting Christina who was a ray of sunshine every day. We could list all the staff for their personalised experiences but we would be here all day. The location is out of the way to get away from the chaos but close enough to get involved when you want. The use of the driver is easy to navigate around the island but we rented a car to enable us to get about as we pleased. The accommodation was beautiful and the views incredible. We will 100% be back and recommend it to anyone looking for luxury with peace and tranquility. See you again soon Jus and James
