Emerald Suites is a new, contemporary boutique hotel in Karterados. Visitors can walk to Fira within 25 minutes, though there are many mini markets and eateries mere meters from the hotel. The hotel features the classic Cycladean style, inclusive of bright white paint, wood accents—very modern. The rooms are fairly large and feature a large, comfortable bed and a really cool on-top-of-the-counter sink. Rooms feature A/C, which is an absolute must to get relief from the Santorini sun. The common areas feature a beautifully maintained pool and lounge chairs. The pool is accessible at guests’ convenience. Breakfast is served in the pool area. Breakfasts feature fresh ingredients and contains a mix of items. It’s really a very lovely presentation and the spread is excellent. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure guests are comfortable, always at the ready to offer suggestions for restaurants, sights, etc. Maria is the consummate professional. She was so attentive—handling reception, checkout, recommendations, and serving breakfasts. She was so kind and even offered to customize breakfast options. Emerald Suites is close to the action in Fira, without being immediately in the throes of the tourist zone. Highly recommended for your Santorini vacation.

We had a great time staying here. It’s only a 20 minute walk to the city center of Fira. A couple of grocery store, convenience store, restaurant, cafe options, minimart much closer too. Felt very safe in this neighborhood. Our receptionist was very helpful and quick to respond. Nice pool and very quiet residence which we appreciated. I wish the balcony was more private, there was a safe box and drawers for storage, and the hot tub inside our room was warm instead of cold. We didn’t know how to change the settings unfortunately.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. Maria is so kind and really helped us with all of our accommodations and needs. Breakfast in the morning is amazing so make sure you eat there. The pool and rooms are beautiful and clean. The hotel is within walking distance from Fira which is where you can take a bus to whereever you want to go( busses are great because they are 2E… taxis will charge 40E for driving 5 mins down the road… it’s insane). Anyway you should book this hotel. It was our favorite on our entire Greece trip

Nous avons passé quatre nuits dans cet hôtel et tout a été parfait du début à la fin. Nous sommes également reconnaissants par toute l'aide, les conseils et la gentillesse que nous a apportés Maria la gérante durant le séjour. Elle n'a pas ménagé ses efforts pour que notre séjour se passe à merveille. L'emplacement, les installations et la qualité du service hôtelier sont d'une manière générale remarquables, un rapport qualité/prix sans doute exceptionnelle pour une île aussi fréquentée que l'est Santorin.

Petit hôtel situé entre l’aéroport et le port. Personnel très agréable. Sur notre demande via Booking une navette est venue nous chercher au port et une autre nous a emmené le lendemain matin à l’aéroport. Chambre très propre, tout en état de fonctionnement 😃 Petite piscine agréable.

Had a, wonderful experience at emerald suites. The place is clean and well managed, though a, bit small. Maria at the front desk was extremely efficient, helpful, considerate and always ready with answers. She gave personal attention to all the guests. Breakfast is served in the open courtyard and nice variety. The place is located close to fira and near to good cafes and a, supermarket in a, small village. The place is relatively new and has a fresh feel to it. Would certainly recommend.

Maria on the front desk has been amazing from the moment we booked until the end of our stay. Nothing was ever too much to ask and she went above and beyond at all hours to accommodate us. The hotel is beautiful, so clean, and well presented. The pool is lovely and the breakfasts everyday were immense. I would recommend a stay here over and over.

Alloggio perfetto , pulitissimo , super carino , colazione fantastica è sempre molto varia ! Maria sempre disponibile ha reso indimenticabile il nostro soggiorno , molto gentile e sempre sorridente ! Tornerò sicuramente!
