索拉雷斯飯店(Hotel Solares)

Good location

I’ve been here before and it seems to go more downhill each time i’m there. None of the plugs worked so i could charge my phone. I was there with my children (i’m a single mother) and at 1230am some man started banging on the door. I called the front desk and told them i was scared & alone and they said “OK” then HUNG UP on me. I couldn’t sleep last night because I was worried. This morning there was construction & abalone signs to direct us where to and where to not go. Front desk staff was not friendly & had us walk around the building to get out again. This the last time i’m coming here & I am upset I wasted the money on this place.

It was great until occupants in room 304 rudely banged and banged on our door. I have a daughter is deaf and cannot hear and she wakes up crying. The person next door obviously when I explained to him I have children didn’t care. He kept banging so I called the front desk and told them to call the police if he did it again. This was on Feb 26-27 night time. I asked managed that we were even willing to move I the middle of the night just to get away from this mad man who was raging over my two little children one who is handicap and deaf.

The building looked like it was under construction, there was only one way in and out of the hotel. The front desk was not particularly fiendly. The sheets were stained, the floor was dirty. The bathroom floor was dirty there was even a clump of hair on the floor. The lights were not wired into the wall they were on some extention cord. We had to move things around in order for the outlet to work that we plug our phones into. There was no remote to the TV. We put a sign on our door to have the room cleaned and it was never cleaned.

Not clean and did not feel safe. Sliding glass door right to the parking lot felt like anyone could be right outside our door. It was an uneasy feeling all night. Shower was tiny and old, water temp was backwards from normal, water pressure was way too weak. Room was right off the lobby so every noise was heard. The exterior automatic slider was right outside the door so we were woken up every time someone went in or out. People in the lobby for breakfast were so loud. The screwed in metal kick plates on the dresser are very tacky. We would not stay here every again.

Didn’t even get to stay, as there were people illegally occupying our room. When the front desk moved us to another room, there were people there as well. We felt incredibly unsafe.

First room after check in was open bed not made towels on floor. Upgraded to suite, door was hard to close bathtub / jacuzzi was cracked filthy. Try to be eco friendly so did not want sheets new towels first two nights, third night still not clean told they did not do housekeeping and if we wanted clean towels to leave them outside the door! Well this would be nice to know at checkin. Construction going on again not stated on website. Front desk clueless as to customer service, wife wanted glass of wine after long drive they had no clue on local spots except “go downtown” not one good morning or good evening. I still am in shock we could not get clean sheets!!! Our entire stay! Only thing of any worth was the bed itself very comfortable. Oh and you needed a telescope to see the TV it was so far away from the bed. All of the indoor furniture was stained. Outdoor furniture seemed newer. Employee lounge was the lobby! Came back to half dozen staff having their lunch in the lobby!

Room had been semi-updated, no towel bars or hooks to hang towels or swim suits. Left sign on door at 10am to make up room, got back at 530 pm and it had not been done. Front desk said to bad. No Breakfast as advertised. cold bagels , no butter, no jam. Only on Ice maker working on 1st floor. Missing on the 2nd and 3rd floors. only one entrance and exit open. bathroom by pool was nasty. no towels by pool
