Everything was good except the floor was not so clean, needed to wear shoes.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth from the manager. He spoke with my wife and I sharing places we should try and go to which made our experience even more rememberable. The room was cosy, pillows were small, but served their purpose. Our AC unit did need to get fixed because it wouldn’t change speeds. But nothing that was devastating. We will definitely choose this place again when we come back to Santa Cruz! Walking distance to downtown. And about a mile from the boardwalk. We will be back :)

We checked in late they made it easy &convenient. It was roomy, clean , bed was comfortable.we had a good stay here it was are first time. Good location from where we were going. Check out was also quick & easy. We would definitely stay again. We were here from friday thur sunday.

This property had good ratings when we booked it, but the experience did not match it at all. When we got to the room, the comforter had a big yellow stain on it. I went to the desk and asked them for a new one, but he never brought it. I had to go back again to get it. The front door had brown stains all over it, and the room was dirty. When stepping on floor, it felt sticky, like it needed mopping. We will not be coming back here.

The staff was very friendly. That’s the only positive thing about the hotel. Strange guys hanging up at the parking lot and around the hotel, even during the day. The frontdoor of the hotel is so loud, we didn’t sleep a minute because every 10-15 minutes someone came in. The whole night until 5 am. Other guests were very disrespectful, they talked and laughed very loud on their way to their rooms. Even so the room was far away of the entrance we heard everything. Maybe sound absorption in the floor would help, it’s cold and empty. The room was not really clean, we found many hairs on the pillow and the towels. No night lamp and socket next to the bed, only a cold white ceiling light that blinds our eyes. No storage space in the bathroom and shower. Loud noise of the ventilation, something was broken. The shower was so dark, the shower faucet almost fell off.

We stayed here for less than a night, ended up leaving because we could not sleep on the uncomfortable mattress. The hotel itself was very subpar, the hallway reeked of **** smell. Our room was fine, but there was a dead bug on the floor and a clump of hair as well. The area around the hotel was not ideal either, pretty rundown and a group of people were hanging out the parking lot revving their motorcycles for hours. The only reason I did not give the property a one star is the front desk person was friendly. As well as the hotel is pretty close to the beach and boardwalk, about a 20min walk or a 5min drive.

Booked far ahead of time. Was told when we got there that we got an “upgrade” to a balcony room. We have a toddler so that was unnecessary. Fridge wasn’t cold and owner had to come fix it. At nighttime the room was as bright as daylight (with a toddler!). So bright that we thought it was still daylight outside until we looked and realized it was the balcony lights. They do not turn off the balcony/flood lights at night and do not have blackout curtains. The shutters don’t do much to block it out. My toddler thought it was time to wake up at all hours basically. Owners solution was to bring us white sheets to cover as if that would help. Blow dryer didn’t work. Shower head was broken and sprayed every direction. Got locked out of our room and had to go get the keys to work after a long day of being out and having our hands full of stuff. Fridge leaked alllll over. Base of the beds are loud aluminum sounding and you can hear others accidentally kicking it through the walls. You will knock against them often and it’s pretty loud. Overall, it was clean but an absolute disaster. We got a simple apology but no resolution. He said they were new and working out the kinks. Their website stresses how lovely their place is and “newly renovated”. Cheaply renovated even for a motel. Keep your expectations low when booking and then drop them even lower before you arrive. We won’t ever stay here again and will advise against anyone staying here (especially with kids).

The room was spacious and had all convient amenities even and refrigerator and microwave. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a very comfortable stay here

Not the cleanlinest, uncomfortable bed, air conditioning barely worked, blinds super bright in mornings and no curtains and the front door and bathroom door were incredibly hard to close- had to force shut and was super loud to do so
