Cozy hotel, absolutely comfortable and great service. 100% recommended

Totally adequate experience. Nice enough, clean enough. Just no quality touches. Cheap towels, mediocre shower and lighting, decent but not nice bed, no comfy areas, pool wasn’t as big as it appeared in pics and was somewhat dirty. Saw someone just pour in some chemicals at one point… Nice employees, decent location.

We really enjoyed our stay and the front desk staff were amazing. The room was nice and quiet. We will definitely be back. The only issue was that there was a cleaning cart left in the hallway the whole time we were there. It wasn't appealing to see a housekeeping cart with towels and stuff there day and night. May want to put it away if not being used by housekeeping.

The Mason Beach Inn was great for a quick, one-night visit. My family of four stayed in a double queen room which was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The decor is well maintained and has a nice look to it. However, the room is tiny. There's not much room to move around in. For one night, it was just fine. The staff was very friendly and included complimentary beverages and snacks upon check-in. Always a nice touch. We used the pool and it was just fine. Clean, but nothing exceptional. The location is perfect. Very close to State Street, the harbor, beach, and warf. Overall, a cute hotel for a quick stay!

Prime spot! It was a block from the beach/pier, a block from Chads (must try for breakfast, don’t let the long line deceive you it goes quickly), the hotel has cruise bike rentals for $10/day, walking distance to State St where food and entertainment are located. There are unlimited coffee, tea, cookies, apples and oa**eal in the lobby. I brought my own coffee cup, water bottle for refills and less waste. Lots of street parking if you wnt to save on parking fees. Staff were friendly. I would definitely come back again. My only complaint is the jacuzzi was super dirty.

Excellent mattress and pillows, we slept all night through first time. Complimentary drinks were pleasant surprise as well. Definitely a good place to come back. Area nearby is very walkable with lots of dining options.

Do not book this inn. First, they do not check IDs when checking in, which led to receptionists giving our room to another customer because "they looked alike". Second, when bringing up concerns and issues, the staff members were very rude and did not allow us to elaborate. Third, the hotel itself is not safe, the doors not have extra latches to prevent other customers coming. Certain receptionists were extremely rude, condescending, and ******. When having ******* look into our issues, staff members lied and did not give the full story or context. Trust me, do not book this hotel.

Fantastic place to stay on our way between LA and Monterey. Beautiful condition and lovely large clean room.

Wonderful, beautiful property and rooms, very helpful and kind staff! Would absolutely visit again in the future!
