裡沃尼亞桑頓洛奇飯店(Sandton Lodge Rivonia)

I was at Sandton Lodge for a conference that I organised. The staff were extremely helpful and flexible in the lead up to the event, and very approachable and professional throughout. This was the second time to host an event at the venue. It is very safe and private; an excellent space for meetings/workshops; has a lovely garden and pool (not used as it was winter); and a family feel to the well coordinated and friendly staff. My only constructive comment is that on the first time visiting the Lodge my taxi driver was directed the wrong way as the hotel is on the corner of a private road; sharing detailed instructions with guests may be helpful to avoid this situation. Overall, I would recommend for anyone seeking a quiet space in this suburb.

I was impressed with the check in and the room was good. Outside of reception they put up a sign that they never start their generator after 22:00 because of load shedding. I was given suite 3, what I didn't know at the time, it was situated right next to the giant generator. Everything was good until, to my shock and horror, they started the monster generator next to my room, at 02:00! The noise was so immense, I shouted at the top of my voice out of frustration, sure that nobody would hear me above the noise. I lay awake for two hours, not being able to think, let alone sleep. Dinner: for a buffet it was very disappointing. It looked like dinner at a back packers.

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits dans cet hôtel du 29/11/2022 au 2/12/2022. Les chambres que nous avions pour le groupe (8 personnes et 5 chambres) donnaient sur le générateur électrique ultra bruyant. La restauration est déplorable , et le service d'une lenteur extraordinaire (40 minutes pour obtenir une bière) alors que l'hôtel était loin d'être rempli. Pour notre vol de retour prévu en fin de journée nous n'avons pas pu obtenir un endroit pour stocker nos bagages et pouvoir nous changer avant de prendre l'avion. Déplorable pour un hôtel de de ce prix.

i asked for a fork i was told to pay for it water was cold for my morning shower walls have cracks n holes in them

The stay was ok. The food was also good. Some noise from a couple in the next room kept me awake the first night. Overall a pleasant stay. This is basically the end of my review I just need more characters.

Beautiful property. However the hotel rooms are dated in styling and poorly thought out. The staff are nonchalant and not on the ball with guest requests. The breakfast is nothing special being pretty basic. Overall a mediocre experience.

Positive: We had good experience beautiful furniture to take photos on,lovely staff, Good hideout location,breakfast was tops Negative: Room was not not properly cleaned, upon arrival We find price tags on the floor and KFC slips, Room not properly dusted,blood stains in the toilet
