A one-night mini break to celebrate our wedding anniversary in an area we love. Nice roomy and clean room, with good facilities. A pleasant dinner in the adjoining pub restaurant, with a minor problem being speedily and happily resolved. My only slight issue was we experienced a faint humming throughout the night, which seemed to be in the bathroom but couldn’t be identified (it wasn’t the extractor fan). As I’m quite a light sleeper, this did mean I had a poor night’s sleep, as I kept waking up and hearing it. Overall however I would recommend and would certainly return.

The room looked tired and dark. Took my own pillows, as I had stayed there a few weeks previous. There pillows were like bags of cement !! No aircon, so really warm in room. The bathroom had damaged and tatty items and flooring wasn't all that clean ! Kettle did not work, so no early morning cup of tea and no one on Reception for a replacement !!! Not great.

I am writing to tell you of an unsatisfactory stay at the Northwich (sandiway) Premier Inn. We stayed 1 night on the 10th September 2022 but was a part of a larger group of 15 rooms attending a wedding locally. We booked direct on your website a full 20 days before arriving. and 2 days before our day stay we were all notified there would be no cooked breakfasts! As you push on all your social media and advertising your normally exceptional breakfast clearly raises you above the other budget conscious competition. As we were only told via email at 4am the morning before arrival, their would be no hot breakfast, this is not enough time to find alternative accommodation or cancel. Further questioning of the staff at The Blue cap hotel which supplies breakfast, they confirmed they have not supplied a hot breakfast for over 2 months. Yet you still offer them on your website and charge for them, I think this is a terrible practice and does not reflect well on your customer service. we were left feeling undervalued as customers and frankly cheated of choice. Staff also commented that cooked breakfasts are not scheduled to be available for another 2 weeks, and they had become unhappy with having to continually apologize to guest for this failure. This experience has upset what should have been a celebration. Poor customer care and morally bankrupt business practice.

Room was clean but dated. We were unable to pay for our room with cash without a passport or driving license (neither of us drive and we don’t carry our passports with us unless we’re going abroad!) no toilet roll in room, soap dispenser in bathroom was broken. Despite being able to order cooked breakfasts when making our online booking we were told on arrival that they were not available but we could have a continental breakfast for the same price which we thought wasn’t worth the money. I have stayed in quite a few Premier Inns over the years and have always been quite impressed, this one was very disappointing and if we were to go to that area again we would look for somewhere different to stay. Disappointing.

Super comfy and large room. Bed/pillow were great. Nice staff at the hotel and restaurant. Lovely restaurant with great food, yumy! Plenty of options for breakfast. Second time I stay here and it is always nice. Super recommended hotel/restaurant

The hotel is lovely and quiet and the staff were very welcoming. Our stay was only spoilt by a very poor breakfast not up to the usual standards we expect from a Premier Inn.

Fantastic warm and friendly staff. Usual clean standards I expect from a Premier Inn. Hotel itself requires some attention, perhaps a refurb - swipe card access for hotel rooms and a lift are necessities.

Once again my stay at the Premier Inn was excellent. Everything was just as I could imagine and at times better.

We booked the accessible room for our recent 2 nights stay. Loads of room, very clean, lovely and comfortable and a great nights sleep. Tea and coffee making facilities, lovely fluffy towels, hairdryer, and lovely helpful staff. Thank you.
