帕拉帕度假屋(The Palapa House)

We will definitely stay here again! It was very comfortable, well furnished and a great location. Nice pool and patio area. Good restaurants nearby.

This place was EVERYTHING we needed or wanted in a Belize vacation spot! PROS: Oceanfront, Clean, roomy suite, in-floor safe, GREAT pool, convenient to stores, restaurants, bars, excursions (fishing/snorkeling), balcony, WI-FI CONS: Our golf cart was stolen parked right out front (this was NOT due to any fault of The Palapa House...don't let it affect your decision to stay here!) but a security camera upgrade could benefit these situations in the future! Shane, Orlando, Stacey and the Palapa team were so supportive of our situation; Shane even called us from HIS vacation in Ireland to discuss it! Orlando made us feel welcome and valued as guests, and sweet Clara who does make-readies is such a joy! By the end of the week here we felt like family!

Very convenient. No frills and reasonably priced. Room was clean, bed very comfortable, A/C very cool and comfortable. It’s right in the middle of everything. It’s not a resort area. It’s a fishing, diving, snorkeling town with great food and very kind locals.

The property was beautiful. We did get a lower level large room. The picture showed a balcony and I don’t like being on the bottom. Kind of off putting to not really get a view. Golf carts always line the sand, can’t see beach. But overall great place

We approached the property at night and my original opinion was not great. I refused to even approach the property. I was surprised bc the unit was very nice. It was obviously updated and very modern. The other guests were older but great and provided recommendations about places to eat and see. The property is also conveniently located steps away from the beach. My only drawback was there is no daily laundry service. It was difficult to get fresh towels. I also wanted our bedding changed daily but turned out not to be that big of a deal. I would definitely recommend to others and would book there again!

This was my first time in Belize and traveling solo, so I had lots of jitters about everthing. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. The home was clean, directions provided for accessing the property were easy to follow, the location in proximty to acivities on the island & local tours was great, and convenience to places to eat & shop was easy to navigate (once you got the hang of it). Orlando, was very responsive. As a suggestion for future guests - Palapa House could possibly include directions to the property as part of the instructions provided to guests (I printed my instructions knowing I would have limited data access, but I didn't think about navigation ahead of time). Once I landed I had no cell service and could only get access to WiFi if I stopped somewhere. Becuase of this, I was lost for about an hour trying to find the place. Mostly everyone I asked for help was familiar with Palapa Bar and Grill but not Palapa House - so even providing some key landmarks for point of reference would be good. Now, with that said. That does not take away from how excellent of an experience I had at Palapa House. I would recommend this property and I would gladly return with my family.

Right on the beach. You can park your rented golf cart right out front. A small pool. Fully stocked kitchen. Plenty of dishes. A ocean activity center 100 feet away. Took a snorkeling excursion. Stores are walking distance to buy stuff you need. Three or four restaurants walking distance. Two bars. Rooms are clean. No bugs. The staff is attentive fixing a leaky sink immediately.

Great property. Great staff. All met expectations at a minimum! I would come back.

If you’re here to hit up water excursions, scuba/snorkel, check out the best of San Pedro and do some island hopping then this is the place for you. Location arguably can’t be beat as it’s just outside of the downtown and tucked right onto the beach which is quiet and has beautiful views and strolls in the sand. There are tons of convenient dining options and shopping to get anything you’d want, the best restos in San Pedro are max 10 min walk away. You can park your golf cart right out front. The place itself it’s fine and dandy, clean, with everything you should need. The operators are super responsive and staff are always around taking care of the place. The pool seems like a 1 but I didn’t see anyone in it in a Week because there is just so much time in water on Ambergris. 1 for Chuck and Robbie’s dive shop across the street. Pro Tip: walk up and down the beach as your fast route in and out of San Pedro to avoid the Main Street w golf carts flying up and down. Faster, cleaner, more beautiful.
