Definitely the best place you can stay within the old san juan.

自從大約 6 年前的一次旅行中第一次看到這家位於聖胡安老城中心的精品酒店以來，我們就一直想入住這家精品酒店。它從外面看起來很漂亮，裡面也很漂亮。我們確實遇到了問題：首先，我們是在星期六晚上到達的。有婚宴，沒有可用的停車位。他們解釋說停車場不是他們的，所有客人都必須自己找到停車位。應該強調這一點。其次，沒有服務員。我必須自己攜帶所有的東西，就像在汽車旅館一樣。與此相關的是，婚宴現場約有30人堵住入口，並吹雪茄和香菸煙霧。第三，前台位於婚宴大廳對面。音樂太吵了，我必須和工作人員寫紙條才能辦理入住。打電話給前台發現他們正在處理，但沒有估計修復時間。如果我在辦理登機手續時知道這一點，那就太好了。第五，我住的 5 樓的房間很容易聽到婚宴音樂，聲音很大，直到凌晨 2 點左右，這讓我們在第一個晚上幾乎無法入睡。此外，房間的裝飾是當代和現代的，與酒店其他部分的浪漫和殖民風格的外觀不匹配。情況確實有所好轉，但第一個晚上我們認真考慮離開並去其他地方。

It is a beautiful property. The rooms are not up to the level of the price charged. Shower leaks horribly. Service can be extremely slow, but everyone is very nice. We left some things we purchased behind in the room, but could never get any response afterward either calling or emailing the hotel.

I grew up on the island visiting old San Juan and always dreaming of staying at the hotel someday. It was awesome. The people were amazing, very friendly, and welcoming from the front desk to any employee you would see in the common areas. The only thing that was a bit of a disappointment to me was the rooms did not look like the pictures. Not in a bad way, I was just expecting some of the old-world charm in the rooms. But everything was beautiful and clean.

We would definitely stay here again. The property is beautiful. The parking across the street was convenient although it is not connected to the property. The parking in the lot would receive a low rating because even though the lot is 24 hours the attendant was found sleeping in customer's car when we went to retrieve at 5am. The car was literally 5ft away from us and the attendant made us wait 30 mins because we didn't know he was in the Tesla.

We liked this property quite a lot. Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful. Only issue was the noise from the repairing in the restaurant and bar area. Management probably should have disclosed this to the public. Area was charming!

Location is the best asset for this property you can walk everywhere in viejo San Juan. Rooms here are very small with an extra small bathroom I got the deluxe queen but to me it was a full size bed, they said its european size. Food and drinks were ok but many places to go eat and drink near hotel.

Hot water took up to three showers to finally reach our room on the first day. We set the thermostat to 68 degrees F, but the room temperature never went below 72 degrees F. Others in our party reported that their thermostat did work below 72 degrees F. The room was very dark as the walls and floors were dark in color. This made it difficult to see, especially for seniors. Our room was designated as having two Queen size beds. The beds were double beds, so it was not what we paid for. The front desk staff told us they didn’t have wash cloths, however wash cloths were included with the next linen delivery. Laundry for towels was very inconsistent. I feel they did not have enough inventory to keep the rooms fully stocked. Wait staff at the first Floor restaurant were very service focused and were always very accommodating. None of the three restaurants were inside and therefore not air conditioned. Front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming, but requests to housekeeping were not as we requested. The coffee service one morning was excellent, but the here were no hot tea options until we asked. When trying the in room coffee maker, two dead bugs came out with the hot water and we did not use the machine again. We did request room repairs and work began the next morning. The shower door frame was replaced, but the shower door still would not close properly. The other repairs were completed satisfactorily. I do not plan on returning to Puerto Rico due to the high heat.

This is a beautiful hotel, it has lots of character, plenty of areas to relax and enjoy! Our room was beautiful clean cozy and romantic. Location was perfect to restaurant bars and touristic spots! Staff was friendly and very helpful! I will recommend to my family and friends!

My husbandc was in the hospital snd i requested a date change ..cant go on vacation with a staff infection had all the documents .. I got a tun around from both ecpedia and the hotel..no thank you would Never use either ever again..you're wekvome for my $1300 for nothing...heres your review!

Beautiful accommodations. Staff was great. Everything was clean and exceeded expectations. The only (slight) disappointment was the size of the pool which I knew was small, but it was smaller than I expected and the jacuzzi was not hot like a hot tub but still very pleasant and enjoyable.

Dirty hotel with broken air conditioning. We should have listened to previous reviews. This hotel is filthy. Countless hairs from previous guest in the bathroom, random debris on floors, black mold in showers. Gross. And after repeated request for housekeeping to rectify the problem nothing was done. And it’s a shame because this is such a beautiful historic hotel with so much potential. Additionally air conditioning only cools to about 74 degrees. Not acceptable at this level of hotel.
