I had booked my room at the end of June for a 1 bed king size 3 nights 4 days. When I got there at check in, they said they were overbooked and I’d have to downgrade to a double queen room. Didn’t really mind at first. My dad showed up the next day and got a king bed, he said the lady at the front almost told him there were not rooms available until the manager came and corrected her. I went to the front desk and asked to be put in a king room since they said they had plenty. They said today is possible, it just wasn’t possible yesterday. The manager said “I’m gonna upgrade you for the rest of your stay” and I ended up just getting the room I initially paid for. When we moved rooms. The tv wasn’t working. We called the front desk and asked for maintenance. They never came within an hour so we went out and put the do not disturb sign up. They still came into our room with the sign up saying do not disturb. When we came back. The tv STILL didn’t work and they left cables on our table. We called again. They said it should be up again. It never came back up. We spent the last 2 days there with no tv entertainment. Not the best EXPERIENCE but I’m grateful I had a place to rest my head while I was in San Jose.
