硅谷凱悅嘉寓聖何塞飯店(Hyatt House San Jose-Silicon Valley)

I didn't like that the dining / bar was not open on the weekend. I went for a sporting event and looked for a hotel with a bar to be able to watch the Saturday and Sunday football games before and after the 49ers play. But we couldn't because it was close. The place looked nice in the pictures. I was not to happy about that!

Ich habe das Hyatt House jetzt schon das dritte Mal gebucht, um ein Heimspiel der 49ers im Levi's Stadium zu besuchen. Der Fußweg dahin dauert nicht lange. Obwohl es neuerdings heißt, für ein Pkw Parkplatz wird 10$ verlangt, wurde mir nichts berechnet, ich bekam, wie immer, einen Zettel mit den Aufenthaltsdaten, der in der Windschutzscheibe/Dashboard sichtbar hingelegt werden sollte.

At the surface, our suite looked amazing. Upon further inspection, it was certainly flawed. There was so much dust and built-up dust bunnies everywhere. The couch was very uncomfortable. And the shower had hairs in it that were certainly not mine. The TV had minimal channels which was odd. The bed and pillows were comfy and the air conditioner certainly proved useful during the heat. The front desk staff was very friendly. And the breakfast was ok. Overall, the lack of housekeepers and upkeep of the room was the key factor to our stay being a 5 rather than a 10. I regret taking pictures when I had the chance, but I was so exhausted that I just needed to sleep. I work in the hospitality business and so my eyes knew exactly where to go…sadly.

We arrived 1 hour after check-in time and room still wasn't ready and was promised we will get a call if ready. We didn't get one. Otherwise, hotel was clean and included breakfast with our stay which was convenient. I liked it had a later check-out of 12 p.m., but they were not properly staff as only had 1 person during check-out and luckily they had an express key drop box.

Convenient and safe parking. I stayed in 2 rooms. First room on the 5th floor had strong chemical smell in the room and mold/mildew smell in the bathroom. On Day 2 I was finally moved to a 7th floor room. It still had some sort of chemical smell in the room but bathroom was smell free. This hotel may need to revisit the housekeeping materials they use to eliminate the chemical smell.

I never leave reviews for I feel necessary to leave a review about how amazing this place was. I just stayed for one night, but the staff was so over the top friendly and efficient. I apologized to the staff that my children may be loud in the pool and they told my children they can be as loud as they want. If we needed something they were at our door in minutes. The rooms were absolutely spic and span. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re in the area.

Had an issue with booking and tried to call the property to cancel and was hung up on three times; twice as soon as they picked up and once after I asked to talk to a manager to see if they would be willing to help me further than the girls at the front desk. I understand that there are policies in place but as a guest I chose to keep a different reservation and not even check into this location even though I was getting charged. At the end of the day, regardless of policy, customer service should still be at the forefront of all encounters and because of this I would tell everyone to stay away. If they treat you like this before you even check in, I can’t imagine what I could expect if I were ever physically there.
