Fun experience - quaint decor. Don't count on the breakfast for anything substantial. Nothing hot but toast. Hot water decanter was full of something icky both times even though we told staff about it. However, overall pleasant stay.

Decor is a very nice change from contemporary hotel decor. Sure it is a bit repetitive, so what? I much prefer this imitation of european opulence to modern, contemporary hotels that typically charge more per night for a room. The comfort is equal to Marriott Courtyard or Hilton Doubletree but the experience is unique and pleasant rather than generic.

If you are looking for a pet friendly hotel, just be aware that there is a $100 non-refundable fee for your pet. Also, do not except a room next to the check-in desk. Between people checking in and the traffic on a busy street it will be noisy. We asked for a room changed to a quiet room and were very pleased. The breakfast is OK,

The Bristol was very a very nice hotel. The reception area was welcoming. The room was large. The bed comfortable and the bathroom beautiful remodeled. It wasn’t from today’s era and that’s what made it very charming. Old chandeliers, beautiful wallpapers and beautiful pieces of furniture. We would be back if we come back to the Campbell/Los Gatos area.

Lovely decor and interior….like being on the set of the movie ‘Pride and Prejudice’….usually have a trouble free stay but room 203 had A/C issues and my toilet plugged up. No available staff to assist with either issue, staff is pleasant and friendly but young and unmechanical. I received a loaner oscillator fan which helped and borrowed a plunger ….partially unplugged the toilet.

Very nice place with a European ambiance and decor. Spacious rooms with a great marbled bathroo and easy-to-use TV with many good channels to watch. My only complaint was that the bed was not too comfortable and the sheets not very silky. Very good continental breakfast.
