Loved the ease of checking in via the app. The room is cozy, but for someone who is traveling for business and not spending a ton of time in the hotel room it was perfect. Bathroom had nice toiletries and a full-size hair dryer... huge plus. Bed was cozy and they had QUALITY coffee for the little coffee maker in the room. My spouse tagged along for this trip and used the lounge / co-working area for the day and said it was also very nice. Only thing I will note is that the walls are a bit thin. We could hear the person staying in the room next to us talking on the phone and their alarm going off in the morning. Not a huge deal though. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in SF!

A wonderful place to stay! It's unique and easy and quite beautiful. The rooms are very warm - central heating that can't be controlled. Each room is provided with a small fan but a better cooling system would help. Luckily the windows can be opened but it was loud with traffic and rain. My room was at the top of two steep sets of stairs and with a heavy suitcase, it was difficult. However, I loved the convenience of everything and the no contact style. The building was old (of course) but updated very well. The room was small but totally sufficient as I stayed there alone, and was there for 4 nights on a work trip. There was a very nice welcome note plus some nice snacks in my room upon check in. Will definitely come back and hopefully stay at another Sonder location someday.

I got this Sonder for my son & his friends. I was a little nervous as they are younger picky adult’s. My son & his friends LOVED it! I received text message’s from all of them telling me how perfect it was for them! They loved being able to use the common area to gather & eat their food. H was kind enough to bring up a fan! I can’t wait to make the visit myself!!!

Nice location for a Hayes Valley visit. Clean room and facility. Responsive via online chat. Near a busy street so was loud at night.

The location is residential but full of places to go. The check in very easy and the common spaces very nice. The room is the right dimension, well equipped and clean. Suggestion: put some more hangers at the entrance.

This was our first time staying at a Sonder hotel and we loved it. It’s strange to stay at a hotel with no reception but the lounge was large, bright, and well appointed and our room was nicely sized and had a generous outdoor patio. You also can’t beat being in Hayes Valley which is both centrally located and has great food, drinks and shopping. We’ll be back.
