Las habitaciones estaban bien, pero solo hay dos Wc por planta, donde hay MUCHA gente, además, no limpian la habitación ni hacen las camas, aunque ponga servicio de “maid” solo cambian toallas. El personal deja un poco que desear, pero correcto.

Location is good. Good neighborhood with many bus routes nearby. Room maybe small but this hotel is clean and cozy. Nothing fancy but It’s good for the money.

Great location Friendly staff and wondeful Peets coffee

I've stayed at Casa Loma about 4 or 5 times. My brother lives nearby. It is a completely serviceable place to stay. The neighborhood is generally quiet, though Fell and Divisadero Streets tend to be quite busy. I'm a sound sleeper though some reviewers complain about the traffic noise. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance, good bus lines (SF is much smaller but has much better transportation system than L.A. - I took the BART and one bus to get from the airport to the hotel), clean, basic rooms though nothing to write home about. Which is fine with me because I'm not visiting S.F. to sit in my room. I'm just there to sleep and bathe!

This is a great hotel for the right kind of traveler and would be perfect if not for its age. I had an amazing experience with the staff here -- super friendly and informative and ready to help. The location is so good -- just around the corner from the Painted Ladies houses, with fun, active neighborhoods (parks, restaurants, bars, etc.) in several directions, and situated right in between several bus lines that can get you into downtown and beyond. The property is just old and it shows -- the rooms are small, there's no elevator, and things just generally show signs of wear. That said, the room was well maintained, clean, and comfortable. I was totally happy during my stay, but can see where some people might find things a bit dilapidated.

As most reviews say, Casa Loma is a fine place. Yes small. Yes clean. Yes noisy, a lot. Lots of traffic. We delt with it and were ok. We enjoyed the location. We enjoyed the price. I have no problem with Casa Loma. I’d stay again.

I stay here pretty often, usually over a weekend or week-long stays. It's comfortable, staff is helpful, and the place is good. It's nothing too fancy, but for the price it's great. I will continue to book this hotel for future. Also it's in a really good area and close to the bus, the park, and shops.
