海軍陸戰隊紀念俱樂部飯店(Marines' Memorial Club & Hotel Union Square)

Hôtel agréable propre et bien situé comme point de départ touristique. Très original intégrant pièces de musée et commémorations militaires à la déco au fil de chaque couloirs et autres salles de restaurant ou réception. Le personnel est accueillant et sympathique.

Location was ok. Bed bugs evident, appears like many American hotels housekeeping do not change the linen on the beds. Room was good. Buffet breakfast a joke as eggs were like what you receive on a plane and the waiters chasing a tip for an average breakfast and service. Offer free drinks for happy hour ( not on public holidays )

Lugar tremendamente curioso. El hecho de tener un vínculo estrecho con los veteranos del ejército hacen de este lugar un espacio diferente. Su decoración está plagada de referencias a los marines y sus batallas, las paredes decoradas con fotografías de desfiles, etc. El hotel es confortable. Lo mejor, tal vez, su buena ubicación. las habitaciones de un tamaño normal con una decoración un tanto anticuada pero muy del estilo de los EEUU. El salón del desayuno en la planta más alta es un agradable espacio.

L'hôtel est très bien situé, juste à 200m de Union Square, des magasins, des transports et du Câble (une expérience à vivre à San Francisco). Ceci n'est pas négligeable si vous visiter la ville à pieds ou que vous comptez utiliser les transports (très bien desservis dans la ville). La chambre était assez spacieuse et le déjeuner très copieux. Le petit plus est le happy hour qui se déroule chaque jour entre 16H et 18H. Nous avons également très bien mangé au restaurant de l'hôtel. D'ailleurs la salle du restaurant est là où est servi le déjeuner et où se déroule le happy hour. La vue sur San Francisco y est magnifique puisque la salle est située au 12ème étage. Le personnel est très amical et toujours prêt à vous aider. Petits bémols: La salle de bain est plus que vieillotte et petite. Elle a besoin d'un gros rafraichissement. La literie pas très confortable et il faisait assez faisait froid dans la chambre.

I stayed at the Marine Memorial Club and Hotel because it was most convenient to a work function. For a queen bed, I paid $250/night which I thought was very reasonable. It also came with complimentary breakfast each morning and a happy hour (full bar) each evening. The rooms were spacious for being downtown in a large city. I had a huge closet too. The bed was comfortable and the linens were great. There was a flat screen tv, coffee maker, a carafe to fill up with water (water filling station on each floor), a microwave and refrigerator. The room and bathroom were spotless. I did not make use of many of the amenities, but I did enjoy the happy hour each night and the breakfast. The breakfast was great. There was wait staff and it was definitely better than most hotel complimentary breakfasts. You actually get a choice of items from a menu. I had bacon, eggs, toast and hash browns the first day and the second day there was an extensive buffet. Juice and coffee came with it. The location was great. I definitely felt save there. A few blocks away you started to see the impact of the drug epidemic, but it was not evident in the immediate area of the club. The recommended parking was next door at the Olympic club. There were also several restaurants right near by and shops within walking distance. The staff were also very pleasant and helpful. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it ended up being a great choice.
