潘泰旅館(Pantai Inn)

At first positive, great location if you aim to be in La Jolla center, walkable to the beach, restaurants Negative..It wasn’t quiet, we heard multiple conversations from who knows where, a bit outdated and overpriced for a 3 star hotel.

Stayed in the oceanfront 2 bedroom unit which was great. Beautiful views, very large unit with kitchen, dining room, living room, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Only downside: Bathroom was a little small for the size of the unit with very limited counter space. Shower was in one corner of the bathroom. Although there was a shower curtain, it did not reach the floor and water got everywhere. After each shower, we had to use 2 to 3 towels to clean up all the standing water. Staff was wonderful. Outdoor space for lounging, with tables to eat breakfast at large and umbrellas for shade. Nice large gas fire pit. Overall highly recommend the hotel and plan on staying there again next year when we are in town.

Loved my stay at the Pantai. AMAZING views and location across from La Jolla Cove. Very walkable to the area's shops and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and responsive. As a former resident of the area, I found the Pantai to be a great spot to fall in love with La Jolla again. I will be back! PS＞＞Price was very competitive too.

The Inn is perfectly situated next to the beach and to many food and dining options. The staff is outstanding and accommodate the guest with any of their needs. Rooms are clean, quiet and come with everything you need for a vacation.

We had a lively stay and really enjoyed this boutique hotel. Gorgeous views, perfect location, and walkable to everything. Well kept with lots of waterfalls in property and amazing tropical plants/flowers. Free waters and sodas, breakfast included, and a lovely courtyard with ocean view. Staff were friendly and accommodating. We will be back!

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. However the room had a serious safety issue. They have a dresser with a glass top not secured to the wall. My 3 year old opened the top 2 drawers and it came down on her, thank goodness I was able to catch the glass before it slid off. Also, there is no elevator and they don’t offer help with bags up 2 flights of stairs.

We arrived at 2:30 pm to find our room was not yet ready. We walked for 30 minutes and came back to get the key. All was OK. It was a very nice place to spend the night as we really only spent 19 hours in La Jolla (departed at 10 am) the next morning.

We were on the ground floor and the blinds did not close all the way allowing people to see in. They did not have another king size room for us and would not refund our money. We stayed the first night because it was late when we arrived. We said we were not pleased with the blinds and they still charged us for the second night even after we said we were leaving.
