Once on the boardwalk you can walk, fun, skate board, or ride bikes for miles on end along the ocean as well as Mission Bay. If water sports are more your style you are literally just a five minute walk from the ocean water (and even closer to Mission Point Beach at Mariners Cove, bay side) were you can enjoy, surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, and even kite sailing or surfing. There are also 8-10 city owned volleyball courts just a short walk away to enjoy one of San Diego's beloved beach sports.
