CAREFUL with your PASSPORT. To stay here is MANDATORY to leave it at reception until check-out. I talked to the foreigner manager (Josh) and he said it's something quite common in the country 🇹🇭 as it's an IMMIGRATION POLICY, which is NOT TRUE... I've been traveling for over 5 years (6 months in Thailand) and this is the very first time that I'm forced to leave my passport as they don't even accept cash deposit. I told him to cancel my booking so I can go somewhere else, but he said that I'd get charged for the first night as I didn't give 24h notice (I booked just before arriving). After an argument by phone, Josh said that it's a HOUSE POLICY, which is something very different... Now that I read the description, this is written in the LAST line, and after you book, you get an automatic spam email with the info. If you don't agree with this and want to cancel, the accommodation has a NON REFUND policy. Above all that, there's no electricity in the room during the day and you can get a private hut for the same price around, so I really DON'T RECOMMEND this place to stay. I should've make a better research before.
