Château le Clos

médiocre, nous étions seulement 4 clients pour dîner dans ce bel et grand espace. Carte banal et chiche. Prix très élevés. Le cadre ne suffit pas. J'ai connu le Clos ces 30 dernières années, j'espèrais un embellissement une surprise du chef, du mieux .

Très joli cadre mais déçu par notre déjeuner. Pas de choix lasages ou lasagnes.... Un bon foi gras seul dans sa grande assiette tristounette. Un service trop rapide et distant, Pour finir l'addition est arrivée en même temps que notre dessert sans même nous proposer ni thé ni café. Quel dommage.

Une belle surprise derrière une grille discrète ouvrant sur une belle demeure parfaitement entretenu dans un parc verdoyant . Beaucoup de goût orné de pièces uniques dans un écrin intimiste ... Un accueil simple qui donne ce sentiment d'être attendus . La chambre est spacieuse et la salle de bain irréprochable. Un simple bémol, pourtant de taille, le dîner qui efface la magie jusqu'alors crescendo. Des gratins variés... mais juste du gratin sans présentation ni finesse. Un foie gras pourtant de qualité mais tristement nu dans sa grande assiette... Un tarif de semi gastro semble injustifié. Je recommande chaleureusement le lieu, le calme, l'hébergement et espère qu'un effort sera réfléchi sur la partie restauration pour une entière satisfaction de votre clientèle. This was a very disappointing experience and nothing like we anticipated. Unfortunately I think that many people booking this would end up being similarly disappointed. It is NOT a relais & chateau hotel, although may once have been. The decor, and in particular the bathrooms, are very dated. The air conditioning was not working. We were the only guests staying so that made it slightly depressing. There is no salon so not really anywhere to sit apart from your room or the conservatory which isn't not really designed as a lounge. You are close to an extremely busy road so it is noisy outside or if you open the windows. As a small family run boutique hotel it has some charm but not at the prices charged which are for something of much higher quality. The owner tries to help but there are no other staff to speak of and it all seems pretty run down.

Without doubt the worst stay ever, in fact we’re struggling to say what exactly this place is - not a hotel, not a B&B and definitely not 4 star anything . When did we ever before stay in an establishment where we were shunted out to rooms in an annexe while the main hotel building was empty and locked up. So no dining facilities, no bar, no sitting areas, no porter, no reception, no staff, ghostville - in short no service or facilities whatsoever apart from a pokey bedroom without hot water initially then no water at all, no working TV, no WiFi, a WC one meter away from my pillow. As if this wasn’t deficient enough we were locked out of the room upon return from dinner in the local town and had to call a number handwritten on a page stuck to the front door of the main hotel to eventually gain access This place is no more than a second rate, overpriced Airbnb type set up and certainly is NOT a Relais & Chateaux establishment. In fact R&C should be embarrassed to see their endorsement tarnished by such a supper set up. A roadside motel for a fraction of the cost would have been a much more honest offering

No staff. No customers. No restaurant. No spa. We have stayed in 50 + R&C properties globally, this is not one of them. Avoid like the Black Plague. It was like a bad movie, do not ever enter this property. The other two guests (yes, 4 of us) were absolutely shocked.

From the warm welcome by the owner, to every single one very friendly. The place is beautiful and charming. The hotel is great and the room as well. Dinner was exquisite. The village is worth a tour. Definitely a place to come back to

The hotel is situated at the edge of the attractive town in a small park. Very comfortable rooms with old world charm/antiques and an excellent restaurant using local ingredients, with an excellent wine list. The attention to detail is terrific. There is also a small pool and spa area which is a bonus.

Our last night in France after 17 nights away and it was a perfect end. Extremely friendly owner/manager who wanted everything to be perfect. Lovely bedroom on two levels very modern bathroom with a degree required to work the taps in the bath/shower. Unfortunately our tv didn't work and although it was an external fault we were presented with a bottle on departure to make up for the inconvenience. Offering a lovely dinner with old fashion service. Beautiful grounds and hotel. Would stay again if in the area.
